  1. Fakum, I had assumed that they fixed this as well as I had been comparing the files through Notepad++ and saw that ED had been working on those same files.
  2. FYI. In case your DCS is hanging because of a crash dump prompt (Windows Error Reporting), you can set the registry to avoid the pop-up window...…. ------------------------------------- To force Windows Error Reporting (WER) to take a crash dump and close the app, instead of prompting you to debug the program, you can set these registry entries: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting] "ForceQueue"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\Consent] "DefaultConsent"=dword:00000001 After this is set, when your apps crash, you should see *.hdmp and *.mdmp files in: %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ -------------------------------------
  3. Hey Samoht, that's been a problem off and on since the VA days. I think there used to be scripts set up for missile and gun fire in the past to get around that. Former VA Admin....
  4. Good deal, I need to get on to try external fuel tanks. They reported the bug regarding those was fixed.
  5. Show us your options.lua file and we may be able to recommend what you need to change. I believe you can also delete the file and the system should generate a new one. I'll let someone else chime to verify that.
  6. Nice BC. I didn't do flight sims when I had my C64 but started when I moved up to the Amiga about 1989. My favorite sim on that was F16 Combat Pilot.
  7. Ha! Summer of 2017 was the time I wasn't flying. Makes sense. Thanks!
  8. Look in the Flaming Cliffs folder from your first screenshot.
  9. Replay was never fixed. It's been broken for several years. I've seen no mention in the forums that this is any sort of priority by ED.
  10. Because those modules have not been released to those who pre-purchased yet.
  11. Do you think if Johnny sent his .MIZ file to BigNewy that it would be beneficial?
  12. Hey Von Thrud, typically if that dashost process is eating up your CPU or GPU, you may have an issue in Device Manager on your machine. Open that and see if you have any devices with the yellow flag. You may need a driver update or something on any device with yellow. dashost does not use any resources normally when you have no PC issues.
  13. Also, if you're not sure how to flush dns…… Open a command prompt and type, "ipconfig /flushdns".
  14. I agree, there are also many detailed posts on this forum so just start reading.
  15. Hey Samoht, I realize the AO mission is pretty complex but after some updates to Beta you can get better performance from building out the mission from scratch. Sometimes new changes just don't work well with missions created on previous versions. We had to do this several times in the past back in the VA days. It was a lot of work but the mission would start running better when constructed on the newest version of DCS.
  16. Trying logging out and back in to DCS 2.5.1 Beta. After my April update I found that DCS was not logged in. Once I logged back in, all my connections were back.
  17. Did you check on where the installation of DCS World is located?
  18. My assumption is that if you are in offline mode and do the Creator's update, the login credentials getting wiped out will hose your setup for offline mode.
  19. Hey BigNewy, I did a test on behalf of this thread. I had not updated to Win 10 Spring Edition so I went into Windows updates and forced it to start. After the update was completely installed and I had been through all the required reboots, I launched open beta 2.5.1. First thing that popped up was the "Login Failed, Invalid Username/Password" dialog window. After I clicked that the username/password box came up and it was empty. So after the Windows update apparently your credentials get wiped clean. After I re-entered my login information, I was good. No additional issues. P.S. - I have not used Offline Mode at all to this point.
