  1. Firewall open for DCS?
  2. .....also make sure you are running with Admin rights.
  3. There's at least a half dozen threads around the forums on this very subject. Just take a look around.
  4. It may be unrelated to SLMOD. See this post: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=204704 That may be related to your issue.
  5. Core Stats..... Speaking of overkill, my new box is used mostly for video production. I have two 16-core Xeon Platinum processors with hyper threading enabled for a grand total of 64 cores. When I run DCS, only 1 core is maxed to 100% and another runs close to 50%. The other 62 just sit there running idle. The whole CPU in total averages 4% or less.
  6. Maybe try powering the PC off and pulling out the video card and re-seating it.
  7. There was an update 5 this morning. Give that one a try.
  8. Haha. I remember that video. Yeah, I think that could get more difficult in the future. :D
  9. Glad you got it sorted out. BigNewy is the main guy grabbing the logs around here. Hopefully he will be able to take a look for you. Thanks!

  11. Aerobatics Online is one of the non-combat free flight servers out there to practice your flying skills.
  12. It's BETA Dora. Get over it and play release version.
  13. Those have been broken for years and still are in open beta.
  14. No, it means they are looking at the issue. They have not released a fix for the memory leak yet.
  15. Yup, Las Vegas has been leveled.
  16. Hey HoYa, a lot of these settings you can find in the Options menu of the game. I attached a couple that are relevant to this thread. In the past I simply took screenshots of all of those settings and used that as a controls manual of sorts.
  17. They just released a hot fix today. Please update to that and try again.
  18. Right, but what you are describing is EXACTLY what folks experiencing the memory leak issue see.
  19. That sounds like symptoms of the memory leak issue which was not fixed on this week's update. Look around the 2.5 forums if you are unfamiliar with it. Thanks!
  20. The main reason it was addressed like that is because there are several threads throughout the forums that talk about this same thing. Some folks would rather take the easy route and generate a new post than spend a little time looking around to see if it has been discussed. There are so many wasted posts around because of this and some folks just get frustrated at that. The forum moderators try to catch some of these and merge them but it happens so often it is difficult for them to keep up.
  21. Yeah, I need a refill on my popcorn......
  22. Especially on the forums.....
  23. .TRK files just aren't a robust system and it's been that way for years. You can play a .TRK all the way through at normal speed and still get some placement issues with your aircraft versus the surroundings. Sometimes a high fast-forward rate can make the issue worse. You'll just need to play with it a few times until you see how it behaves. The earlier the parts you want are in the .TRK file, the better chance of getting what you want.
  24. The best way to handle the release is to not expect it. Any of you that have been around when previous modules have been released know darn well that it comes out when it comes out. Worrying about the release date is pointless. Just be happy when it does come out.
