Either it´s to dark, the target is already destroyed or the box is too big for the target. Try playing with the size of the box and make sure the target is life.

Do you really think it's a good idea to compare an American plane to a Russian helicopter?! Try to compare it with the Mi-8, but not even this comparison can be guarantied. In the training mission it is explained that the autopilot tolerates a deviation of +/- 15° in either axis iirc. Soo, set your course, speed and angle, trim your controls to stay in that attitude and engage the autopilots. Et voila, happy flying while munching a sandwich ;-)

I had the same deflection in the chopper and had to recalibrate the stick in the Windows Game Controller settings. After that the deflection was gone. Should give it a try.

I own 3/4 WWII modules and yet I don't fly MP. Why? 1.) Damage model (so frustrating) 2.) Visibility 3.) 2 separate installations of the same game with dozens of GB of disk space, err no! Despite all those cons I really like to take the Props for a flight because it's chilling, pure flying. when the surroundings improve I might consider MPing.

Sorry, I meant if you had updated the drivers before the crashes? Last time I experienced problems AFTER I updated my drivers and rolled back the update to the old version and everything was fine again...Worth a try.

I forgot the correct binding label but the default binding is: # opens comm menu only on ground RAlt+# opens comm menu always

Did you unbind the collective axis from the joystick? But I would recommend to use the RZ-axis on the stick. Used that stick on my own and it worked nice. It´s better than using + & - for collective.

Did you set your network settings correctly in the options?

Hey guys, I´ve searched the forums for some documents, manuals and/or procedure guides for Russian/Eastern aviation procedures and manuals. Since this community is full of eager and realistic flight aficionados I just created this thread to see how many documents there are gathered. No matter if it´s written in English or in Cyrillic. I´m looking especially for some documents about the operations and procedures of aircraft in the Warsaw Pact: - Comm procedures (since no Russian pilot replies with Copy or Wilco:music_whistling:) - rotorcraft operations (formations, flight organisation, command structure) etc. Let´s see what we can find;) Looking forward to your input guys:book:

Yes, you have training missions (Start Up, Taxi and Takeoff, Landing, Air combat, bomb deployment). Instant Action also works fine, you just start as a flight of 2 planes and assist F/A-18s :D It´s fun but...well. Besides that there are some very good WWII servers for multiplayer and as you said some SP missions from players.

I found the error:doh: I still don´t know what´s the reason for it, but it was bad calibration data within the Windows Gamecontroller settings. I noticed that the "center" position of the stick was slightly forward. After disconnecting the X-52 and recalibrating it in Windows everything is fine now in DCS.:joystick: Thanks for the help and the inspirations. :thumbup: @Moderators: Since it´s no bug or problem with DCS I guess the thread can be deleted:music_whistling:

Afaik the F-117 shared some avionics with F-16, F-18 and F-15 because of budgets to keep the project secret. Some sources state that it was equipped with the Loral AN/ALR-56M RWR (stated after examinations of the wreckage in Serbia.)

Checked everything, no mods, no other controller, no binding conflicts. Going to rename the SavedGames/DCS folder and trying DCS repair tonight.:thumbup:

Force Feedback turned on? Does it turn itself on? Is there a special checkbox in the settings or should I check the FF tune in the controls tab of the Ka-50?:music_whistling:

Good evening gents, I don´t know when it happened (must have been after one of the latest patches) but the trimming in the Shark doesn´t work anymore as it should be. No matter which "trimming technique" (hold trim, set attitude, release trim or set attitude, click trim) I use, the result is the same. As soon as I let go of my stick the Shark goes into a dive. Even if I trim the cyclic to the right, it goes right and into a dive as soon as I let go of the stick. Can anybody help?:helpsmilie: DCS 1.5, no axis curves, full saturation, no checkboxes under settings.

Afaik the winter start handle isn´t implemented yet. It should change the ignition sequence when used in cold weather enviroments iirc.
