  1. Early Norwegian F-16As filmed in 1985/86. Inlcudes rare cockpit footage from this early Block.
  2. I had the same issue after a Windows update. You can click a downward-pointing arrow to load your last settings from a file. The arrow is at the top of each column for the input devices. I'm not on my gaming computer right now, so I can't post a screenshot, but I’ll update the post later if you have trouble finding it. It's quite small, and I also missed it initially
  3. I've just bought the map and I cannot agree more. I don't mind lower resolution texturs in sparsely populated areas, particularly that these are often covered with forests but airfields are a completely different story. Paved surfaces are worse than default Caucaus and should not be present in a released version of the map. I expect early access to have some parts of the maps missing, just like e.g. Afghanistan but these done should not be of such poor quality. Compary it to early access Syria or aforementioned Afghanistan both of whiich had arifields abundand in detal. I bought the map only to have access to to upcoming Arctic Thunder Campaigs.
  4. I have the same problem on 4070Ti. It is visible only with DLSS on during sunrise or sunset with clouds close to the horizon. MT version.
  5. I haven't tested all the modules but for me it happens in the Tomcat on all the maps that have the update lighting system. It's ok on Caucasus and Persian Gulf maps. I'm using MT version of DCS. UPDATE: It seems to be GUI scaling issue. I changed from 1.5 to 1.0 on a 4k screen running in 4k resolution and the problem disappeared.
  6. Ka-50 (both variants) and F-4E have rain droplets missing on the canopy. I tested majority of default modules and so far only these two or actually three exhibit this problems. Attached is the log and screenshots with settings and the problem. Tested on I713900K and Nvidia 4070Ti in 2D. I used "Overcast with rain" preset but the bug is present in at least two other presets. I tested it both with DLSS on and off. null dcs.log
  7. Yes. It is always switched off when using the launcher.
  8. As in the topic. When I use the new launcher the game defaults to these two options each time I start it. It does not happen when the launcher is switched off. Attached is one of the logs generated after the update. dcs.log-20240711-223930.zip
  9. I don't have access Harrier manual but a workaround is the designate the target with the TPOD (it has to say TPOD DES) and then double press sensor select button to return the the previously selected sensor - INS, MAP or TV. You should be able to drop a ripple of unguided bombs on the the last TPOD designation using this method.
  10. THese are problably know to the community but I thought it maybe a good time to remind about them. I watched them again today and they provide additioanl insight once I've been "hands on" with the beast.
  11. SOLUTION: It is probably a bug but I managed to solve the problem with help of my team mates. My TDC was bound to axes on a throttle. It seems that any unintentional small movement of the TDC slews ALL the waypoints in a flight plan, even if you're out of the DATA mode. Adding small dead zone solved the problem. I have another problem with INS but your topic title matches and falls within the scope of what I am dealing with. My issue is INS drift. I've had the Harrier for at least a couple of years and I didn't have previous problems with it. Approximately 2-3 months ago, my INS started drifting at a very rapid pace, i.e., the distance to the waypoint increases when I am flying directly towards it. I tried renaming and recreating the Saved Games folder, but it didn't help. I also went through the ground start training mission thinking that maybe I missed something, but I did everything correctly. Here are the steps after the engine start: I type in coordingages in EHSD-> DATA: Lat, Long, Mag Var ( also tired with True Heading) I switch to GND Align. The alignment starts and counts down to 0.7 OK. I switch to IFA. The INS starts drifting when I get up in the air or mayne even earllier. It makes the module completely unplayable. Here's a link to the video illustrating the problem. I tried setting pre-aligned heading but it hasn't changed anything. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iQUj2V2nfX969eMiEA29JAsqC4uvEIRc/view?usp=drive_link
  12. One of the default ones. I think if was a misssoin in one of the campaigns I flew and I did not check it in the mission editor.
  13. I thought it was something wrong with my setup but apparently I wasn't the only one that saw low-res textures of the expanded 2.0 map. This is why I withheld my purchase last year.
  14. Iraq was hinted before but MiG-29 is a big surprise. Fantastic job. I've been in sims since Atari days, starting with sims like Tomahawk and Mig Alley. Then came Amiga with Gunship 2000, F-117 Nighthawk, Tornado and finally PC sims with Voodoo acceleration dozens of newer titles. The video you presented is jaw-dropping today and was something beyond wildest dreams in my early sim days.
  15. It was a good year for DCS with multithreading, DLSS and several other features. All the best to the team and I look forward to 2024 and Beyond video.
  16. I’ve recently had regular crashes on 2nd or 3rd mission. Sometimes I could load even one. What helped in my case was editing registry (#3 in the article below). Im still testing but I’m on my 5th mission and the game seems to be stable.
  17. Check this thread. Servers were overloaded due to high demand.
  18. Starting from Mission 2 none of the preset channels work. It applies to all the radios. I am currently using an Open Beta MT version. Overall, great job with the campaign. I have just finished Mission 4 and with I had more time for more soon.
  19. This gave me chills. I’m more than happy that you guys are developing the F-4. Phantoms Phorever.
