I'm fairly certain that one can use a keyboard and mouse now on the newer Xbox console. I know I have no issue using one thru my Steam link combined with the Steam controller and/or joystick.

Given that FC3 is a simplified version of DCS 2+ it would be nice if the developers would/could adapt a version for either PS4 or Xbox. Could open an added stream of revenue. The hardware of either is certainly capable today. I know quite a few of us have consoles.

FPS fix was great now getting ~40+ on or near the ground and at altitude 60+FPS with my system (see sig).

I noticed that after starting DCS 2.1.1.6002 at the bottom where all the module icons are there are (2) for the Mig-21bis (one colored and one not colored). I do own the Mig-21bis.

When in the cockpit I have a red box in the top left corner that shows the joystick movement patterns and in the lower right a crew status window. How do I turn those off?

There is a performance difference between the two climate zones. Although not extreme. And that only occurred when the 54 actually took flight rather than just fall off the rail with no ignition. Which did happen at times.

Any ETA on when you guys will release a beta for testing...if any?

Did this is seems to have worked. The screen going black only happened once. Using the current video drivers from AMD.

Do you guys have a target date for release?

How do you save? Just click ok at the bottom? When I do this the screen goes black and does not return like it should to the start screen.

Seems that after configuring & adjusting of axes my joystick (Logitech Wingman Extreme 3D Pro) it won't save what I configure it to for certain aircraft. Also after clicking 'Ok' at the bottom of the screen rather than going back to start screen the screen goes black entirely. Only way to get out is via 'Ctrl-alt delete' then close the game and restart. See signature for PC specs.

Well I can build a 4 cylinder ACVW engine that will smoke a V-8. So in essence it can be done.

I was also curious of this...I see no option to fly the Mig-21 in the NTTR quick mission/s.

I am currently running the 1.5.3... stable version with my modules but just purchased the NTTR and Mirage 2000c. I take it I must install DCS World 2.0 at this point in order to use the NTTR map?

You shouldn't have to reinstall anything when going from 7 to 10. The old days of doing a clean install are gone. No need to anymore. An upgrade is in essence a clean install these days.

Unofficial word in the Seattle area is Microsoft will extend the 10 offering. No real reason not to at this point.

1.5-2.0? So how far off ~ before 1.5X... version becomes 2.0?
