  1. Having excellent results with Mushkin RAW 1TB SSDs
  2. Use 'dry' Swiffer sheets and cover all the intake fans/areas on the case exterior. Use scotch tape and cut the sheets to fit. This will greatly reduce incoming dust.
  3. Try using a powered usb hub.
  4. Are you certain you downloaded the correct drivers 64 vs 32? I just test mine and it does change the mode on the stick profile as well.
  5. Any issue related to cloning an OS drive © to a new drive if DCS is on a disk other than OS drive?
  6. Make sure you clear the bindings for both the stick and throttle. It will initially have axes set for pitch/roll etc...on both devices. Once clear then bind them accordingly.
  7. Yep have those and a slew of other modules.
  8. Will be installing an i7-3770K (from i5-2500K) is there anything I need to perform prior to the swap?
  9. Now on Win 10 Pro 1809 Build 17763.652 with no issues.
  10. General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark
  11. Did the same to me as well. I'm not running the beta version either.
  12. LOL! Misinterpret? You miss the part where I said I've not experienced the issue? Catch word being not.
  13. Explains why I haven't. Telling one something is in no way shape or form....make it credible. Again I'm not experiencing any micro stutters at all. None. DCS is on it's own drive on my system.
  14. Haven't been pushed to 1809 build yet via Microsoft update. Currently 1803 OS build-17134.619
  15. Was 17 then....joined the US Navy shortly after. Ended up working (AD2) on F-14's, F-18's, A-7's, E-2C's and SH-3 SE Kings. There were those that do and those that didn't in the end. Stayed in for 10 years (86-96).
  16. Any suggestions for setting the helo up with an X56? What gets mapped to the throttle axis? (don't see throttle under options).
  17. Any suggestions for setting the helo up with an X56? What gets mapped to the throttle axis? (don't see throttle under options).
  18. And you're sure of that?
  19. Who'd buy at full price rather than wait for a sale? (which happens more often than not) Not me. Running without an SSD and no issue/s. When the price for them becomes comparable to a HDD (same size) then I may give it some thought.
  20. For 99.X percent of folks out there. 32GB is overkill. Nothing wrong with having it. But don't expect miracles to happen.
  21. Must explain why it hasn't been an issue for me.
  22. Hasn't been an issue for me at all. If one has limited RAM perhaps but most of us don't.
  23. If your worried of 'loading times' than yes you'll want an SSD. In game performance does not differ between an SSD and a traditional HDD. In the end one will be spending more time in game than loading of it.
