Someone at ED better step up soon and explain the reason for this, and justify why we were lied to. this is a real smack in the mouth to loyal DCS customers. and thats what we are Customers, DCS is a product we pay for. To be told we will get one thing, then for that to be changed without warning or option after we've bought it is totally uncalled for. IF they decide to delete these posts then i'd have no other option than to express my opinions and facts on this matter in more public places, I may not have a very big Youtube following (just over 4K) but i'd do everything I could to make sure people were aware of this deceit.
  2. The fact it was originally sold as a one time purchase for all modules, the fact they are now trying to charge for each module, absolutely not, they either change this or i'll be doing everything in my power to obtain a refund

Hey guys, the 504 has been setting up and testing a dedicated server hosted by ibex digital services, it's been running fine in all tests so far, but since DCS 2.5.2.17978 Update 1 for Open Beta, we've been having a problem with constant stutter in game. From the outset all clients and in game AI units are micro stuttering, jumping a few feet back and forth. with mini warps every 5 - 10 seconds. We've tried everything we can think of, but can't seem to resolve the issue. the missions we have tested work fine when hosted locally, but as soon as we put them on the dedicated box it starts to stutter. we've monitored the server, CPU usage is fine, the network is hardly being touched. Server stats are Processor: Intel® Core i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz Memory: 32768MB RAM Available OS Memory: 32630MB RAM Any advice on cause and or solution would be really appreciated
  5. Just to expand on this with the warehouse system (I’m really curious about this) would their be any way of adding a resource to a crate? And airlifting it to a airbase and having it add fuel and weapons of a given type? Is this something we can do now or via triggers? Is this a planned feature in 2.5? As it seems everything is there for it to happen? This would add some amazing logistical variety to missions

  7. Thats a great principle at low level, but as soon as you pass 20k ft it's very hard to see the horizon, especially when in a gradual climb. Also in bad weather, knowing how to fly IFR is quite important in prop planes.
  8. Hi fella i'm testing these at the moment for you this is what I have so far. i'm doing each tutorial 3 times to see if I get different results.

Hey guys just wondering if anyone else has come across this, i've been through the manual several times and in the Guns DM mode with sight set to A/A-2 the gun sight should give a ranged prediction of where the rounds should land, The way I read it the gun sight should float where the rounds are going to be with the range to target within 1500ft however in DM guns mode and sight set to A/A-1 or A/A-2 it doesn't float when the target is locked on. I've found the only time the gun sight 'Floats' is when it's set to A/A-2 and the radar is in search mode, (unlocked) whenever I lock a target weather by using DM mode or by using the actual radar to get the lock with the ACQ key the sight stays rigid in the center. This is covered in the manual on page 238 and 239. I have also tried playing about with the sight cage key but that has zero effect either? Can anyone else verify this? or has anyone found a way around it?
  10. Have you tried turning off Force Feedback in the settings? this effects the trim on several aircraft?
  11. I've found that this control is great for controls like the warthog throttle which has a lift out of dent control, I believe this is a constant switch, I.e the button must alway be on for the throttle to be open. Try just using the separate binds.
  12. Ok sorted deleted the Input folder in the main directory C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\M-2000C must have been something in there DCS didn't like..

  14. And the fact the SU27 gets data linked aircraft positions so they don't even have to use Radar or EOS to find the enemy...

If reds are getting the R27T it's only fair blue get the 120B, but hey I guess a red squadron would want a red advantage no?, a F15 has nothing that can stand up against a SU27 with the 27T they can fire and go cold, whilst the F15 takes it in the face without even knowing he was launched on...

  17. Well with the condition of the M2000 at the moment he Mig21 is a qual opponent.
  18. The single biggest problem with that idea is IFF for all aircraft that don't have an IFF/Radar, your in an A-10, an F-15 flys past, is it red is it blue? Who knows.... It's bad enough having M2000 and Mig21 on both sides. I'd just like to say I think it's a bad idea

    I found the same, no matter what I bind it to I can't point the radar, just the TDC
  20. I'm still having an issue with this, even selecting main or aux still transmits on VHF
  21. I'm having a real problem that I can't seem to transmit on UHF to talk to the tanker to request connection, all radio works on VHF, but I get no response or cannot transmit UHF
  22. i'm having same issue, i've got the BS2 upgrade version and I cannot buy this campaign in either the Module manager or from the website.

  24. Hey Key binds are set right, the trimming indicator moves, so the input is being recognized in game. it's just not having any effect on the FM
