I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but the wheels don't sit on top of the tarmac, they are clipped just below the runway/taxi way.. i'm wondering if this is causing a lot of the problems with ground handling?

Check your sticks dead zone and curves. it could be it thinks the center is slightly off?

I can't get them to work, the switches on the triangle panels work, but the 2 switches on the lighting panel for general lights/cabin lights don't seem to function. it would be really nice to have a bright light for night starts and cockpit navigation when it's dark.

what RPM and Manifold pressure do you maintain once the blower kicks in? I find trying to maintain 2600rpm and 46 Hg causes the engine to pre-detonate and leads to a seized engine quite quickly, i cut back on the RPM to about 24000rpm and everything seems stable but it feels like the stang has no power left to climb, that is with a clean bird and about 3/4 full tanks. also to maintain 170 mph (best climb speed) after 15.000ft i almost always have a decent angle, and to keep about 2.5 to 5m/s up i drop below 150mph and start to wallow/stall.

I get to 17.000 ft and after that I cant seem to get enough speed/power to climb, the stang just starts to wallow and bleeds below 150 mph and I cannot push her any higher, any tips?

hey guys, i've been trying to get back into DCS, I have world and A-10 i'm getting a really annoying problem to do with in game coms, my / # \ keys are not responding in game, I go to the option to set a key the # and \ keys are not picked up when trying to set them in the options! every other key is picked up fine altho some of the keys like the brackets [ ] are located where the ' and [ keys are? i hope this makes sense? it's like the game 'sees' a different keyboard layout to what I have? I have reset all controls to default but alas I couldn't get it to work. any help would be grand.

Well I now officially hate my TM Warthog, about a month after I got it the EAC switch stopped working... I thought about sending it back to France, but it's one hell of a cost and being without my stick for a month or so didn't appeal. but now to make things even worse the right throttle isn't responding properly. i move the throttle about half way and it stops registering the movement and the x/y slew control hat goes mental. looks like I’m going to have to pay the £50 to send it back after all..

The VVS504 has been in the Lockon community since 2003, we have a very proud history as being a very accepting and vigorous virtual flying squadron. However after the past year a lot of our older members have grown out of sims or moved to pastures new. I solved this problem you have to click on the compatability button in vista at least, in the screenshots folder.

you know what amazes me is that ppl think this is a one off! this happenes all the time im stationed at RAF Leuchars which normaly coveres Q north but where on a bolthole at the moment (runway re-surface) and we usualy get a few Q launches a month to go play with the bears

the absolute best place to learn is a squadron. if you want to talk to someone live then go onto Hyperlobby and ask for help im sure there are a lot of ppl there that will be glad to..
