Everytime I go to fly DCS, the damn HMD is not picked up by my lighthouse. I have had it successfully working at times, but every time I shut down my computer and attempt to fly the next time, it's like starting at square one - lighthouse not detecting the HMD. Unbelievable. I will be selling my Pimax on ebay in the not too distant future.

I'm afraid you're absolutely right. It's a shame people spend a ton of money on a rig that, according to the presale hype of the Pimax, is supposed to offer a good VR experience. What they don't tell you is that software companies need to do their part to keep pace ( as is ED ).

You were right. SteamVR SS was set at 200%. Once I dialed it back to 90%, I got into the 20ish FPS range. :cry:

Communication between Pimax and ED is a good thing !

I turned off Parallel Projection with no noticeable effect ...

These settings have improved my clarity in cockpit, but I'm down to about 10FPS in Free Flight. I have an i9 7980XE with 64GB RAM and a 1080Ti. I know I have to be overlooking something ... ??

Gents ... I'm only getting about 20-30 fps with my Pimax 5K+ on my machine. Settings as shown above for Pitool and DCS ( operating at 90Hz on Brainwarp ) Computer Specs are as follows: i9 7980XE overclocked to 4.7GHz 64GB RAM 1080Ti Windows 10 Also, cockpit clarity is ok (love the fov) but when I move my head in the cockpit, it sure is blurry until i finally stop moving my head. Any words of wisdom on tweaking the above? Thanks

Disabling the lighthouse tracking allowed the headset to finally track. I was surprised at this as I thought Lighthouse tracking meant enabling the vive base station to be see by the headset, but what did I know ? Now, to figure out why everything is so jittery on my new 1080Ti... more detective work !

Ok thank you. I’ll try channel A. I do have SteamVR, but the base unit hasn’t registered in Pitool nor SteamVR.

I have a vive base station with green light on but Pitool cannot connect to it. How does the base station talk to Pitool ?
