First thing to rule out is that your brakes/rudders are not incorrectly assigned to other controls. So scroll left and right and make sure it's only assigned to rudder/brake controls It's a pretty common DCS thing.

I was thinking that too. I just chalked it up to "I must be the average" and it doesn't hurt or help much. I mean I do line up the cross hairs as best I can. But then I'm also thinking that my Astigmatism is getting in the way.

remember, if you don't run at native resolution, things start to look horrible. So using a lower resolution on a 4K monitor is usually a bad idea.

Well, I suppose in theory, a proper RAID controller with the smarts *could* use both disks to read and use the faster of the two. But with SSDs, it's a moot point. Even with mag HDD, all the stars would have to line up for READ operation to be better. Meaning on one drive, it used the inner tracks and the other, the outer tracks. So w/o some facts, I'll chalk it up to placebo effect. If you've done some testing, do let us know.

Two likely things are: Switch died. Or cable to the switch or the PCB came off. You'd have to open it up to see if it's the latter. And would need a multimeter to check for continuity on the well being of the stick. I know you said you're not in a position to solder, so I'm thinking the the above is out of bounds as well? I hope they send you a new stick.

updated the OP with ingame settings. Left out Pimax settings since I just updated to 112 version (thanks!). Should have some time to record some more videos.

Raid 1 would do nothing since it's just a mirror. I think you meant raid0 which stripes against two disks. But for SSD, it doesn't make much sense even if using raid0. The access isn't going to be the bottleneck given the SSD vs NMVe testing. For traditional HD I can see the benefit but would never do it due to doubling the risk of data loss.

I don't know how many will be available out of the gate. Considering that there are more than 150 folks on the list, *if* there isn't enough stock in the beginning, people should be told that they have X days to pay and order. Otherwise you lose your spot. I know lot of people sign up for these things, but not all pull the trigger when it comes time to pay. For example, I may hold of buying for the Rift because I'v moved on to Pimax. Of course, if there's enough production volume out of the gate, it's a moot point. Just a suggestion, not a demand.

I would recommend the K CPU as well. Core i7 8700K which gives you a piece of mind in overclocking your CPU. Also, you should look at delid'ing the 8700K CPU as it makes a big difference in cooling.

Yup, I'll give it a shot. One of the downsides of wider FOV is that it's hard to point the camera to the edge. I don't recall seeing any distortion, but will give it a shot. You and me both! :D I want to say mid 40's. I had the FPS on, but I don't think I got the upper left corner. I'll post a separate video that talks to FPS.
