  1. file name pilot_a10.bmp.dds found in DCS World\Bazar\World\textures\A-10.zip
  2. Hi Oesau, No the skin hasn't been uploaded yet. I'll get it uploaded later on today.
  3. It certainly looks better with the RAAF pilot and correct numbering.
  4. Awesome stuff guy's, thanks Home Fries for the pilot skin. Thanks to Jack also I now have the correct numbers font. I got home today and it was like Christmas, lots of presents for me! Thanks again guy's that's totally awesome!
  5. OK, here's a screen of the latest line bird tail
  6. I have a completed one like in Kurky's pic already, I posted some screens of it in the logbook thread last week I think. I drew the bird by hand and still have the original and have redone the graphics, 4 mouse clicks and she goes from line bird to show bird. Home Fries, I will PM you my email addy so we can work on getting this pilot skin ready for the next release.
  7. Anyway I pulled the file until I work out what I'm going to do with it.
  8. It's based on this without the blue tail and #3. Do you think it would be better if I made it blue and added the #? Easy enough to do.
  9. Thanks guy's, Strut, I released it specifically for use with the logbook, same as the Huey skin. RAAF 37 Sqn C-130, 9 Sqn CH-47 are ready to go too, same as the Army Huey. Just waiting for the latest logbook to be available before I release the Huey skin. The rest will be uploaded over the next couple of days. I have 75 Sqn F-18 Skin too but it's a ways off yet, darn magpies are hard to draw, took me long enough to do that darn 3 Sqn Eagle.:D
  10. I've uploaded my 3 Sqn RAAF FA-18 skin. should be available shortly once approved by the mod. Here's a couple of screens
  11. Thanks for replies and if it means I get the F-18 faster then I'm all for it.
  12. Excuse my ignorance but I fail to see any benefit from using Steam, why all the fuss?
  13. The first entry probably relates to the .dlg side if not it could be used as a container. There's a bit of info to process so I'll run some tests first before making further comment.
  14. Hi Home Fries, sorry for the delay in replying. I added them as separate countries, wasn't ideal but it did the job. Unless ED added another drop box for the countries to allow more categories I can't see another way around it. For skins too, you need the different entries for the description.lua to differentiate between them.
  15. After RMC-D they go to BFTS and upon completion pilot recruits are awarded their provisional Army flying badge and promoted to rank of Second Lieutenant. If they want choppers then they can then go to HCC followed by HTC.
  16. BTW, I'll be releasing my RAAF Huey skin tonight, I'll release the Army version after we update the logbook so it will fit straight in. Here's a screen of RAAF version already to go.
  17. Great work Home Fries, that fixes the ranks not showing perfectly, seamlessly even.
  18. Some will benefit from MIPs it depends on hardware configs and other things. This explains what they are and how they work http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mipmap#How_it_works
  19. Here's a couple I'm just about to release depicting the current livery for the Royal Australian Army and a Viet Nam style Royal Australian Air Force Huey.
  20. Back then a helicopter was one of the hardest machines known to man to control so landing just wouldn't have be an easy thing to do.
  21. I hope to have a few skins ready to go for the Hornet, here's a WIP of 3 SQN skin. We should have the country mod ready to go soon. I've made some last minute changes and I'll send it to Strut for him to release.
  22. Thanks LT, We're working on adding an Australia country mod and it would be great if we could be included. I have skins for the Huey, C-130, UH-60 and I can put some together for the F-18 and CH-47.
  23. hmm maybe we should add 3 Sqn for the Hornet. I have 9 Sqn for the Huey, CH-47 and 37 Sqn for the C-130.
