  1. @McKronenbergThose look fantastic. Any chance you'll do VF-154 from 1991-1995, along with it's sister squadron VF-21?
  2. Beautiful. I love how DCS improves each modules the same way the IRL aircraft improved itself in the real world.

    Targeting Pods

F-15E Strike Eagle carried the AN/AAQ-13 (navigation) and AN/AAQ-14 (targeting) pods comprising the LANTIRN suite and the AN/AAQ-33 Sniper ATP. Will all three eventually be made available for use?
  4. Yes, this is exactly what we need. You can do Desert Storm, Southern Watch, Iraqi Freedom, and even Inherent Resolve with this. You can also do Iran scenarios.
  5. Suspension of disbelief required even in an uber-realistic simulation like DCS. You're just not going to be able to create historical scenarios down to the smallest of minutiae. That said, the UAE wasn't a big player in the Tanker Wars, so Strait of Hormuz scenarios aren't marred by the fact you can see the Burj Khalifa in a scenario taking place in 1988. Even if they don't have the pre-1993 variant, still plenty of action for the Strike Eagle over Iraq from 1993 - 2003.
  6. U.S.-Mexico border. Perfect for a U.S. vs. Cartels campaign set in the future.
  7. It's literally where the Strike Eagle made a name for itself. Looking forward to an Iran campaign, but there inevitable needs to be a Desert Storm campaign and also a no-fly zone campaign. Always loved the "Iraq '93" campaign from MicroProse's F-15 Strike Eagle III. Also, if Israeli variants are going to be released, would like the Syria map to be expanded to southern Israel/Gaza also.
  8. Attempted - looks like the handle must either be fully back or fully forward to be pushed down. This must've been changed, because in the past, I could push it down regardless of the handle's position. Thanks for the help!
  9. The wing sweep handle cover issue remains: once it's flipped up, it's stuck in that position. When I click it, it doesn't respond at all. As such, I can't sweep the wings, not automatically.
  10. Dunno if the "Farmer" is still in Cuba's inventory.
  11. The Cuban Revolutionary Air and Air Defense Force (DAAFAR) is so sparsely equipped, DCS already has everything: - MiG-21 - MiG-23 - MiG-29 - Mi-8 - Mi-24 I want to see a contemporary or '90s (to involve the F-14) scenario where Cuba becomes destabilized and tries to move on GTMO, U.S. forces respond.
  12. Has the wing sweep handle cover issue been fixed? It's still stuck in the "up" position and I can't click it.
  13. Was actually thinking more contemporary scenarios.
  14. Cuba was a theater of operation in many '90s combat flight simulators. It's not a small country, but it's not massive, either (roughly the size of Tennessee. What's the likelihood we could get a Cuba map?
  15. Given how many women have crewed Strike Eagles, I want to see women out of sheer authenticity.
  16. There's quite a few hand signals missing. When the green shirt gives the signal to tension the catapult, the director (yellow shirt) is supposed to relay the signal to the catapult operator and the pilot by pointing one arm down the runway and the other arm in a 90-degree angle. Then he's supposed to hand off control to the Cat Officer, but, in DCS, he never does. He just quits signalling and the Cat Officer just knows to take over. This is a major omission. I wonder when ED will correct this?
  17. Is there anyone making the following skins: F-14A: - VF-21 (1995, CV-62/CVW-5) - VF-154 (1994, CV-62/CVW-5)
  18. Also, the hand signals need to be completed. For example, the director needs relay the instruction to pressurize the catapult and hand off control to the "Shooter."
  19. Those stack gases. Now I see what pilots have to deal with when landing! It doesn't seem like it'd be distracting, but it is!
  20. Reading this thread feels like we're re-living the F-14's development. LOL
