  4. Thank you Chuck...you are a great asset to the 229th...the 229th is dedicated to the UH-1H experience and we strive to achieve real world flight techniques. The 229th has quite a few real world pilot, both fixed and rotor and it is this wealth of knowledge that is used in our instruction. We have a great bunch of pilots who, not only fly together but appreciate each others company...a company of brother, if you will. We invite all who love helicopter flight and assure you that there is certainly no judgement. We take all levels of members, even pilots with minimal skills and turn them into combat ready helicopter pilots within a few months. If you fancy a challenge, then the 229th is the helicopter group to be part of. See you in the virtual sky's. With that said...As a real world UH-1H pilot with over 2000 hours, I want to give a shout out to Belsimtek for the great UH-1H model that you have created. I can tell you that your creation is as realistic as it gets...You certainly have my endorsement.
  5. Looks great...the 229th will finally have a scout...
  6. Is it possible to use FM homing as our ELT. Not quite the same but would suffice for this mission.

  12. The P-38 is also my first choice but didn't think others supported it...glad to see it in the top three.
  13. Awesome...but as his commander, I would advise him to shave that caterpillar off of his upper lip...
  14. I agree, One of the most iconic aircraft of WWII and I've not seen mention of the P-38. I would also love to see this fighter created...I know...just a wish...
  15. Hey Puchout and Lobinjael, I have my Gentex SPH-4 from my Army days and would like to use it while flying my DCS Huey, but I don't want to alter or damage this priceless keepsake so please keep us (i.e. me) updated on your progress. If you find that it works, I will give it a shot...thank in advance for your continued reviews...
  16. You got skills Bryan. You're welcome to come fly with the 229th anytime.
  17. RIP brother...
  18. I really enjoyed the mission tonight. The 229th battalion pilots preformed well as did all of the other pilots. I look forward to next months mission.
  19. Hey Chuck are there any specific mods that we need or is this a clean mission??
  20. Iberian, I'll take the fourth slot on the red team so that I can support my brothers in the 229th.
  21. Hey Charly, I'll make every attempt to join you...
  22. Rest in peace Jim, you've helped many virtual pilots achieve the dream of flight...for that, we are forever grateful.
  23. Awesome stream, I've not seen this asked and if it's been addressed, I apologize. I understand that the tree's are collide-able but more importantly to us helicopter guys, can they be used for cover and concealment? Can the bad guys see AND shoot through them?
  24. Hi ozTRipwiRE, I think I can help with the UH-1 procedures. I'm currently in a group of UH-1 enthusiast that pride ourselves on real world procedures concerning the Huey. We have real world UH-1 pilots that teach accurate flight techniques and fly very disciplined tactical missions. If you want to experience what it takes to fly the UH-1 using real world methods then please visit http://1stcavdiv.conceptbb.com/ to learn more about us.
  25. You guys are awesome for doing this...I will post a chicken scratch picture later...thanks again.
