  1. Paid full price for TIR4 back in 2007 and will do so again if/when mine dies. It increases immersion a ton, and it's so natural, you forget it's there. Which is why, after using it for a few weeks, you'll start turning your head during movies to change the POV.
  2. Anyway... Video is amazing. On the downwind leg, I kept turning my head to the left though, to get a look at the carrier.
  3. Woah! How did I miss this?! I just did a spit-take all over my monitor.
  4. Awesome! Thanks!
  5. I have the same bug, and I suspect it might be some sort of conflict with the A-10/F-15/Su-27 mod. It happens in both DCS and FC2.
  6. @ :58 smoke carried in wind direction?
  7. Logite, you've got enough grammatical errors, poor usage, and misspellings in this post to keep me busy for the next fifteen minutes. A word to the wise: if you're going offer yourself up as an editor, you might want to check your subject-verb agreement and make sure you're clear on "its" vs. "it's". Furthermore, this is not the complaints department. You should not be "stupified" when people are annoyed by your provocative use of words like "dumb" when talking about the developer.
  8. Very nice!
  9. Color me excited. Nice work, Nikola!
  10. :( Yeah, but they're ghostly: you can't strafe 'em. :(
  11. Welcome aboard! TrackIR is a must, especially with the 6DOF cockpit. I also use CH pedals. I don't think I could go back to the days before I had either....
  12. All my best wishes for a speedy and full recovery, sir.
  13. Watching now. Skiilllzzzz...
  14. Very, very nice! Thanks!
  15. Yeah, PlainSight has it right. Also, I recently posted my own TileProxy video, for those of you who might be interested.
  16. Here's a new fsx/TileProxy vid I just posted, for those interested....
  17. :shocking:
  18. Trigger, Been checking out this thread for well over a year now, but have never weighed in. Just wanted to say, what you're doing is damned inspirational, man. A damned inspiration! Keep it up! Best, John
  19. I always found that LOFC's zoom function sort-of ameliorated the graphical problem of seeing objects at a distance. Of course, zoom itself is not realistic, but neither is an object like a tank occupying one pixel on a monitor. To me, zoom makes me feel like I've got a set of eyes that work. Can zoom be linked to moving forward in the cockpit like in LOFC? BTW, I don't use labels in either.
  20. Louis CK is exactly right: How quickly you begin to think the world owes you something! You get to zip around in the most complex military sim of excruciating fidelity the commercial world has ever seen, and because the patch is a few months late, you come on here threatening ED, and by extension the community, with your indifference. You've been here since January, dude. Hey ED: Keep up the amazing work!
  21. If I had to give up my TIR, I would probably give up simming. It's absolutely integral. Though, after you start using it, you'll find yourself turning your head while watching TV to make the camera pan.
  22. I just started using Tileproxy and it's AMAZING. I quickly threw together a movie. I just got Acceleration and REX, and it's just unbelievable! Will make a movie soon.
  23. Everything runs smoothly for me running 4 gigs RAM...
