  1. I imported the MFG Crosswinds from Czech to Canada. Unless there is some sort of trade issue I would consider it a viable option. Shipping can be pricey but in the long run you may be better off.
  2. There's somewhere close to an obnoxious amount of threads on this topic but if I were to sum it up: All sticks have problems, people like myself have used Saitek equipment for years with no issues, others have had if fall apart in short order. The same can be said for TM products. I currently use TM and have had no issues but others have had problems straight out of the box. If you want to spend the money go with the higher end VKB or similar products but you will certainly spend a good chunk of money. It may be that you will never spend it again so players gamble. Hope this helps.
  3. To Canada the shipping was less than 2 weeks. I'd imagine the same to anywhere in the US.
  4. I'll suggest something like this to you. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/NvW2QV
  5. Sorry Gents. I will choose to not believe you. I had an SLI setup and tried all the tricks people said would work and it did nothing. Until ED decides to implement it, your chasing ghosts.
  6. Currently at 90. Higher than that and things get small so you feel like a giant in a Shriners car. I had it at 80 but got better clarity at 90. I haven't tried yet but I'm sure the best setting is somewhere in the middle. Note that I do have a far sighted prescription so your mileage may vary.
  7. So again, its not supported and isn't worth considering at this time.
  8. I can confirm it works very well in the Rift.
  9. Since when is SLI supported?
  10. I've had mine for 2 years. Its extremely unlikely I will ever purchase another set given the amazing quality and custom service.
  11. LOL, well. Aren't you cheeky. Default was 60 something. I believe its more about depth than distance between your eyes but I'm obviously not as intelligent as you.
  12. I wear glasses to read and VR was always more fuzzy than I thought it should be. With the IPD at 90, I'm finding it amazing. Cockpits are much easier to read. (I've only tried the Harrier), and the depth sensation seems much butter. External visuals are much better now as well but I suspect that is a 2.5 thing rather than IPD.
  13. OH MY FRICKIN GOD IS FORCED IPD A GAME CHANGER!!!!! THANK YOU ED!!!!
  14. I use a button on my HOTAS as a modifier. Its in the button config (in the sim). At that point any button on your HOTAS can have a second function. The slew on the TMWH has a button on it which I use for left click and alternatively as the right mouse button when I hold down the modifier.
  15. Got to try it for a couple minutes last night. I made a mission a while back where I start in the air looking down over Kobuleti. The first thing I said was "holy S$$t". It looked amazing, ran smooth. Couldn't be happier.
  16. That's certainly an apples and oranges comparison. I don't see the value, you do. Its ok that we don't agree.
  17. $890.00 US!!!!! Nope.
  18. I had Saitek pedals. They never did center and they always had calibration problems. Before that I had CH, they always worked, never had any issues. Now I have MFG's. I'll probably never own another set, they're beyond awesome. Unfortunately its just like everything else, you get what you pay for. Problem is that you do pay a significant price for Saitek pedals.
  19. The E-3 might just bring a different kind of person into DCS. There are people dedicated to ATC in other sims. Having the ability to control air traffic may appeal to these people and really improve the immersion of DCS.
  20. Are there any definitions of each of the 3 (dead zone, saturation, curvature) items listed in that tab? I have a good enough understanding of each but an actual definition I have never seen. It would certainly be helpful.
  21. Good to know that it is possible. Anything that furthers the Northrop design makes me happy.
  22. Dave I would suggest the reality is that the vast majority of console players simply are not interested in a study sim environment. The sales would need to support the extensive time and effort of the ED team to port it to the console. Flight Sims exist on PC due to the reality of military and commercial use being specific to them. The A-10 is a prime example where a military contract turned into a civilian simulation minus a few items for security reasons. Even the PC community that is engaged at this level of simulation is extremely small and would be unlikely to exist without commercial and military contracts. I get that you think it would be a great thing for console's, and it may be but I doubt the numbers are there to support it.
  23. Good point. The Aegean Sea could be included for Carrier Ops from the other side. Oh the missions brewing in my head at this moment. :)
  24. The only problem I see with the way you are going is that I would then need to build a full functioning cockpit. :)
  25. Well done. Looking forward to seeing it on my wing.
