I highly doubt that with the system your are suggesting that you will have any issue running 2.5. Most of us on 4790K's aren't that worried about it so there is no reason if you buy a 8700K. I went through an AMD "phase" myself. It was challenging. I learned a lot but I'm very glad I went back to intel.

Smokin Hole I would suggest anything with metal internals. I have no issues with my TM setup but in the long run it will give out faster than a VKB or other. The problem I personally have is the TM setup is what I want cosmetically, the others are just plain ugly.

I had a love for the F-20 like most people of my generation but it was never in service so as much as I loved the aircraft I would personally rather that ED and its third parties stick to aircraft that were in service.

I do hope its coming. I assume what we have now is as good as could be achieved for implementation with updates to come in the same fashion as the Tarawa and the like. Lets hope.

Yep I agree on the SRS issue. It works fine with the presets but we really need that second radio working.

4K users also have the same issue. Its not as simple as you suggest. Its a piece of the puzzle that was very well received and unfortunately removed for reasons unknown.

The stupid thing is that I'd buy both but hardly ever fly them. Its a problem, I know it and I'll live with it :)

On the weekend the 231st and 223nd had a rather large event on our private server. There were better than 20 aircraft involved, most of which were harriers. A couple F-5's and 2 or more A-10's. There were no real issues.

I saw a video by a fellah (can't remember who) that said with a double press of one of the TDC buttons ( I think ) you could slave the zoom, wh/bh, and a couple other functions to the sensor select buttons which would already be mapped to your HOTAS. I gotta find that. If anybody has a link to such a thing, please post.

Sounds like a hardware conflict not a DCS issue. I'd suggest removing all your VR and joystick drivers after you unplug them and reinstalling. Doesn't take more than 10 or 15 minutes.

I had twin 780's until the 1080 came out. Nothing but a waste of money for DCS. Crysis, it was amazing but DCS had 0 results.

Actually a 1.7 PD would make the other aircraft smaller than 1.0 so its probable your eye site is much better than the OP. For a lot of us it is an issue and it would be a very much appreciated option added back into DCS.

If I were ED, I'd pull the product from Steam.
