  1. My WWII Backer Rewards includes 'Normandy Map' and 'Normandy Map Alpha access' Is there a difference between early and Alpha access? Excuse nooby question:)
  2. Go to your Config Folder, open the Options lua file and edit the height and width back to your original screen setting.
  3. Easy fix I bet. I had the same problem with mine. Take off the base plate and tighten the spade terminals to the pot. It's a well known problem with CH products where spade push fit connectors are used.
  4. I'm having this too, but only since the latest 1.5 open beta update. I've never used the mission editor. It's curious, but no big deal.
  5. Thanks for the heads up. Just gave it a quick try with cardboard and an iPhone 5..looks promising. I'll try later in my pit with Track IR booted up. Cheers again :)
  6. Looking good. Following your progress with great interest. Will you be able to open that room door once the wings are on? :)
  7. Craig, Might I suggest you do a small edit of your Ebay listing and make the last photo the first one (showing all the gear set up). Cheers Dave
  8. Thanks for the heads up :) Looks like a company called combatpilot will have DCS BF109 and P-51 full cockpit simulators there. http://www.combatpilot.co.uk/
  9. yep...when I hacked mine, I kept the led and sensor intact and just broke the circuit to the led with a toggle switch. I had to make sure the sensor could still "see" the led.
  10. Google is your friend.. http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-X03-73497-Sidewinder-Feedback-Products-Pc/dp/B00HBEF5QW/ref=sr_1_4/192-1132466-0215749?ie=UTF8&qid=1440626327&sr=8-4&keywords=sidewinder+adapter
  11. As Pfeil says..you only need the cable. The power supply is built into the Sidewinder base. You feed mains power directly to the stick base.

  13. The Leo Bodnar unit will trigger an LED check the downloads in the further details...
  14. This is worth a look too..you can connect toggle switches, pots, rotary encoders..no software required.:) http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=94&products_id=180
  15. Sounds like loose spade connectors on the pot. It's a simple fix. I had the same problem. Just disassemble the pedals and give the connectors a squeeze to make sure they are making a good connection. Use this guide on the CH forum. It's important to follow the correct order or you will have springs and other bits flying out everywhere. http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php/forum/13-hardware-help/ :)
  16. This guy has vintage switches at a fair price...I've had a few from him including the nice starter buttons with safety guards. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/gbairspares/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
  17. I'm building some switch panels for the P51D and trying to source some toggle switches to mimic the Radiator Flap switches. They need to be dual axis - momentary-on left or right and latching-on up. anyone ever come across such a switch? Cheers
  18. At last...the problem is solved! Looks like it was a USB bus problem. I had my FFB2 in one of the main PC USB ports. Swapping it to my powered USB hub has fixed it. I have tested it all evening..not one crash. Thanks to Baal for the idea:thumbup:
  19. You are a genius:thumbup: I was having exactly the same problem with the Sidewinder2. In my case I had TrackIR and Sidewinder on the main USB bus. I changed the Sidewinder to my powered USB hub and problem solved! No crashes at all now. Cheers Baal:D
  20. hmmm...problem is there isn't a realistic alternative to the Microsoft FFB2 stick. Anyone using the Microsoft FFB2 successfully with DCS?
  21. ok...I'm still trying to fix this crashing problem. Today I had a breakthrough ..... If I unplug my Sidewinder FFB2 stick, I get no crashes at all (Yes, I tried un-ticking FFB in options but didn't help) I also tried playing with an old non FFB saitek stick and this was good to go too. Anyone have any clues how I can continue using my trusty Sidewinder? Life without Force Feedback is pants:joystick:
  22. Cheers...maths isn't my strong point:thumbup:
