  1. Yes, I modified it after the video to avoid giving you solutions :D For the 5th, but you may look at your briefing pdf to understand where the convoy comes from, if I do well remember, WP9 is the place you wait, not 8. I even placed an Mi-8 escorting it to help you see it. Mission 3 designing was simply as followed (right like other missions now I think about it) : Kill the player. My job is to kill you, your job is to survive as long as possible knowing that I will manage to kill you. :p Nicolas
  2. It would have been in Hong Kong, you would be dead -_- :D
  3. Ignominous spy. -_-
  4. Because it's the way we call it in french "La Gaz", usual too to call it "Tagazou"... Even if Tagazou is supposed to designate Alouettes. Nicolas
  5. "I think it's obvious the campaign takes a somewhat liberal and fun approach at the whole thing, " What, my characters and approach of the question don't look serious ? :D
  6. Use the standard formula : dR/dt = [e^(Two more weeks) * i*ln(ie^2iPi) ] / "Sun Dec" * "Sun RA"^(Pi). Nicolas
  7. Nope you're right.
  8. Wop wop wop. First video which was shown to you was a complete WIP. I personally tested with Pat to get the good values, and they are now finalized. On next update, you can expect to be able to land without problem up to 40-50 Km/h on grass. Over it becomes really dangerous. In such situation, if your vertical speed exceeds around 20-30 m/min, you may end on the nose. Landing with a reverse speed will end in the aircraft rising its nose and then destroy the tail. So you should be able to do a classic slow speed landing on grass without problem, even with (a bit) lateral speed (not over 10 km/h). If you still have some problem, honestly guys, it will come from your way of piloting, nothing else ;) Don't try the running landing on your current version, specially on 2 monthes old NTTR version, because you won't get any good result. The last video is nearer than the first one from final result. Nicolas
  9. After Philippe, let us introduce you to Gunther. :p
  10. Try on a mission created on the Beta, not a mission from the stable please and tell us. Nicolas
  11. Okay guys so : We identified the issue. Currently, you won't be able, in multiplayer, to use the magnetic TRIM on the Sa-342L if the mission you use is originally a mission which comes from the stable branch. We are currently comparing the original stable version with the BETA version (with Sa-342L) added, to see if we find the issue. Perhaps will the stable update to 1.5.4 will solve the issue by itself... Nicolas
  12. Well so forget about the video, I guess it's clearer than my loooooooong post ^^
  13. No simply that when I produced this mission, I made myself sure that there weren't more units or triggers than on, for example, Mission 7. So micro stutter IMO doesn't come from this, but perhaps from some kind of file corruption in your DCS.
  14. Technically triggers and units amount is not so more important than on others...
  15. No no no I'll explain in the video ;) Nicolas
  16. Oh god... Well guys forget about this, i will make you a video, it should be more explicit, you'll have it before friday ;) Nicolas
  17. So to answer the problem, it's an effect of commands becoming harder when taking G. Of course you don't feel them like your helicopter does... And if commands get locked, well, you simply are too high.
  18. Hi guys. So some of you currently are thinking that TRIM isn't working correctly in 1.5.4. I won't personally throw you the stone a da face as long as I just spent 2 h with Pat because I was thinking the same :) So, to explain to you : On other helicopters, like the Kamov-50, the classic (Not central position trim mode) way of trimming is a bit hard. When for example you trim your cyclic forward. Ingame, the Cyclic gets centered on the new position. But IRL, your physical joy is still pushed forward, and so adds a second action on the ingame cyclic. To sum it up : I Trim my helicopter, and I have to recenter ASAP my physical joy because it causes a violent push on the ingame cyclic. It's quite uncomfortable, I think we all agree with this. So Pat decided to code a different system : Your TRIM will keep the current angle of the Gazelle itself, not the cyclic one. Obviously, modifying your horizontal or vertical speed will cause this angle to get modified, it's not a "cheat" option. So if like me you were pushing hard your cyclic forward, push on the TRIM and then bringing your physical joy centered as fast as possible, well, that's very simple, it won't work nice. Instead, simply place your Gazelle carefully at the angle you want to keep, and then push on the TRIM, and well, you can move back your physical joy centered, there won't be any "push forward shit", you're fine. I hope that I was clear, if not please tell me, I too was very frustrated because I didn't manage to understand why my Gazelle didn't Trim like my Kamov. But, honestly, it feels far more comfortable to me like this. Anyway, if not, be advised that once the FFB support will be released, you will be able to use the standard Kamov-50 method. From France with love ;) Nicolas
  19. +10 I want some collateral damages in DCS !
  20. Only sometimes ? ;)
  21. This is not a Gazelle related issue but an Eagle dynamics one. Nicolas
  22. Quite strange that this fix works for me and not for you :(
  23. Hey oh, j'ai dit en multi. Suis un peu :D
  24. I HAVE THE FIX ! PAUSE your Track IR, then launch DCS, then join your server, then get cockpit. Once you are cockpit, release the pause on your Track IR !
  25. The fix is for the next update (Open beta I assume). Nicolas
