1. I guess I found out about lock on modern air combat first, but I was playing other flying related games before that. I was looking around on Youtube for funny videogame aircraft crashes and Lockon came up. I thought "hey that looks fun" so I purchased it in 2009. After that I got Flaming Cliffs 2 and loved that. Then I found out about DCS A-10C Warthog, being the most realistic air combat simulator ever. That really brought my attention and ever since then I have been buying and learning DCS products.
2. I first learned about the tomcat when a friend showed me a model of an F-14D and how it could swing its wings. I really didn't care at the time because it looked weird and it was big and clunky, so I didn't think it would be a challenge for other dogfighters.
3. What made me fall in love with the F-14 was a documentary I watched a while ago (cant remember what it was called), but after seeing that I researched a little more on it and found that it was capable of doing a lot more things than I thought. What really makes me love it is the two seats the wide body and the swing wings. I think its an absolutely beautiful aircraft.
4. What made me watch Topgun for the first time was everyone saying "goodness gracious great balls of fire!" and me being embarrassed not knowing where it was from :)
5. I have never flown in the back seat of an F-14, but I would love to :D
