  1. X99 is to run a SLI/CrossFire configuration to get the extra PCIe lanes, for the best (and expensive $$) performance. X99 is useless for a single video card configuration.
  2. 32:9? Good for cars racing but not for flight sim when the vertical view is what you need.
  3. What a coincidence, my Ram truck has the same :shocking:
  4. Longue vie à l'escadrille JG13. :cheer3nc:
  5. Start a new thread.
  6. 1200w ??? http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm https://outervision.com/b/nebq0X Are you sure you need/want to spend (lose your money) a 1800x?
  7. For DCS, an i7 and an i5 are the same (the "K" version at the same speed). For DCS the i7 (the K) don't worth the extra cost. Your system (i7 4790) run DCS at 4Ghz. Again Try to find an i5 4670K, i5 4690K. And overclock him.
  8. Artic silver 5 is good: http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/thermal-compound-charts/benchmarks,155.html?_ga=2.17728959.788414718.1496714211-1715601043.1490856287
  9. Try Prime95 for 8 hrs. And don't panic.
  10. 3GB of VRAM is not enough.
  11. It's by the base clock, the overclocking possibility (range) is extremely low, compared to the CPU multiplier. It's a no go..
  12. Page? https://ark.intel.com/products/98090/Intel-H270-Chipset
  13. You can't overlock a CPU with a H270. i5 7600K. I don't own one but I think the GTX 1060 6G is enough for 1080 lines.
  14. Return 32GB of RAM and get a bigger screen.
  15. Because DCS has migrated to Dx11, you need more video ram (6G). No need of a Hyper-Threading CPU, get an i5 7600K, a CPU cooler, Z270 and RAM, and a lottery ticket. What is your resolution? A GTX 1060 6G for 1080 lines, a GTX 1070 for more.
  16. Pay more, the unit will last longer. :smartass: https://www.thetechgame.com/Archives/t=5613293/power-supply-guide-the-good-and-the-bad.html http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/psu_manufacturers
  17. Maybe because few minutes is not enough to discharge the C4, C5 capacitors. The RT3 resistor limit the inrush current (it has a negative temperature coefficient).
  18. I see no problem with this PSU.
  19. ObiWan, the Superchannel YAMA PSU are unknown (no home page), find something else.
  20. PSU has many safety approvals, like the CSA. Please don't turn off the PSU switch. What is your PSU? How old he is? =EDIT= This is a "pop". This is a click (relay).
  21. The Foxtron Source Power look good: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/fsp-hydro-g-650-power-supply,4462-10.html
  22. Excellent tips, disable one core or two to reduce the heat. And pump more speed to the other ones.
  23. What is your resolution? 1080 lines? Get a GTX1060 6G.
