Yes- it is regional. The French side, spefically from Calais towards Le Havre have few (if any) trains, while GB has huge numbers. Hoping it will be evened out over time.

I don't think anyone was interested in a value assesment based on preference here. This is a modding section. Specifically about terrain. Modders mess with default files to make the game look better. There are many wonderful modders that have had great result with tinkering with textures and lua files as you know. Taz, Barthek and Mustang just to name a handful. There are many more. Some have even been baked in the base game. This is a thread about the possibility to mod/tune/enhance the grass based on one's preference. That it costs performance or that DD Fenrir deems it 'ridiculous'is totally irrelevant. How people mod their games is totally up to them. It is a fair question, posted in the correct section.

It is doable to adjust this to personal preference, by tweaking the gamma of trees in the accompanied .lua file. -

Drives me up the wall as well... There are many trailers where the grass i noticeably shorter... It might be reasonable to believe that some .lua file can be edited to this effect. And no- we are talking about the slider in the graphic settings. It has to do with grass blades per square meter and height. It will cost perfirmance- but it would be great to have the option...

Fix the archaic wingman command system and accompanying radio voice files. (Yes- I know it is 'wip'- for the last several years.) Working, modernized ATC system. A an updated AWACS coms logic would also be nice- with check-ins, report state etc. Fix wakes on waves in high wind. Give start-up smoke to warbirds. Kola is not 'Core' - it is a third party addon (Orbx). -

Fix that aircraft (Especially in WW2 campaigns, like Reflected's) fly in formation in a way that does not defy physics- with heavy warping (almost teleporting), that is a trademark and seen in almost all missions involving large formations. -
Two years later... Proper whitecaps would be nice indeed ED.

This is as close to photo realism as I have ever seen on a hand made map... Finally western Europe that actually looks as such, from low and from altitude. Can't wait to check it out! -

In Barthek we trust. The updated Normandy is wonderful (Bravo Ugra!) , but I still would like Barthek's touch on colouring and palette.
