Do have one idea of the weight of these cargos ?
DSPALLASVI replied to Skulleader's topic in DCS: UH-1H
Hi VIMANAMAN, Thanks for the info. Have not much experience with DCS but will try to work it out. Will do as you mentioned and create a new mission (after copying the old one ;-) and see if the new cargo is there and I can select it too. Appreciate your support. -
Do have one idea of the weight of these cargos ?

Thanks for the info VIMANAMAN, but unfortunately it did not help, sorry. The 'UH_1' folder contains two sub folders, 'Bazar' & 'Script'. No other files are located in the 'UH_1' folder. Turned 'off' all other mods in 'JSGME', only 'run' 'UH_1' mod, but still only see the cargo net in any of the missions that support sling loads. Have attached pics of the missions that are in DCS, maybe that could help? In all missions, when using 'F6 - all cargo', only the weights show up... no matter what I choose, it's always a sling-load net when looking outside the helicopter... -
Great Work!! Love the detail; like the twin colours on the main rotor trim-tabs!

Downloaded cargo file OK. Used JSGME for installation. But am still seeing only a net as sling load cargo in the missions that support sling loads.. don't see generator, or pallet with wood, or fuel tank etc. Am I missing something here or doing something wrong in JSGME? (there isn't that much to do in it, I thought) :music_whistling: -
Flew second mission last night ("employing Huey as fire fighter, Liquidator.miz") and felt very good when was told fire was under control.... Mission Success  Flew around the area for a while afterwards.... Haven't progressed further yet, will do that soon :) Q: Do the other missions have possibility to make mission starts with 'cold-start', or all 'hot-start'? Love this campaign!! :)

Well done! Thanks for all the hours putting this together!! Now have many more reasons (and hours) to enjoy the Huey!!! Thank you for your dedication and effort

Is that site trustworthy regarding downloading the "UH1_Cargo.rar" file?? They ask me for credit card info, just to download for "free"? Anyone have experience with this site? -
Nice flying, and parking on train 'b00ce'!!

Cool mission in SP mode!! Enjoy it very much! Q: Only occasionally are there directions from crew chief helping getting close "to / from" target in water ("12 o'clock - 8", "12 o'clock - 6" etc).... but most of the time I get no direction from crew chief. When 'close to' or hovering at 2 -3 feet in the green smoke, a voice states "... below..." (I guess..., can't really understand what he's trying to say...) no idea what it means... Flying too low? Fly lower? Someone else experienced this too?

Thanks 'Silver Dragon', 'mwd2' & 'shagrat'... @ 'Silver Dragon' → might be an old video, but it's new to me! Now that I know what the 'Bulls Eye' stands for, it all makes sense. Just needed to know what point of reference was being used when given 'BRA' directions. @'mwd2' → with the knowledge of what the reference point is, finding the units needing 'pick-up / evacuation' are easy to find. Though I'd have to use 'F10' map to figure that out. Any other way, like using the knee-board, or is it only possible on the large map? @ 'shagrat' → searched through the forum and came across the info that using keystrokes "L-Alt + Y" switches between LL & MSGR coordinates. Haven't tried that out yet. Knowing what the the bull's eye location in the 'Dynamic Medevac Script' mission is, should give me enough info to figure out any BRA given. "... The coordinates can be switched in the scripts header section. Look for MGRS..." Sorry, am not familiar with scripts and how to change them.... Thanks all for your help... much appreciated!!

Sorry for the delay... Here's a screen shot after picking up some crew of a crashed A-10, I happen to see crash while flying around at beginning of mission. Brought them back to M*A*S*H... Then, 'F10' → 'F1' > to see "active Medevac/SAR' and get to see those messages in top right of screen: Am puzzled by the directions like: "...*** at bullseye 068 for 13 at 2040..." Is the "068" a bearing from the FARP to the unit in question? "13" the distance to the unit? and "2040" the time it happened? If so, in what time format? GMT? Georgia Local Time? The mission itself starts of (in the air!?!) at 13:00 local time... Note: only fly Huey module, and am familiar with navigation (Bearing, Heading, distance, Deviation, Variation, LOP, etc. etc. etc.) Thanks for your help....

Just tried "Dynamic Medevac", and noticed mission starts off flying at altitude, instead of being located at an airfield or FARP. Am not familiar with coordinates system being used. Can fly around and only by good luck find some smoke to land by and rescue crew. When using F10 and F1, have no idea how to interpret given data of where to pick up units. Searched through this post, but can't find explanation for coordinates being given for units needing to be rescued. Was wondering if someone could offer a link for some help with the coordinates system being used in this mission....

Working for the Railroad... Hi Cibit, tried 'working for the railroad V1b', fly to dock where (weird column of) orange smoke is located, Message "Loads delivered: 0" shows up, land close to ship to try and load cement, get message "you don't have any extracble evacuees or pick up zone nearby". Even landed on top of the cargo containers on the ship's bow, but keep getting same message regarding "no "*" zone nearby".... Was wondering if I'm maybe missing something here maybe, thanks. (using DCS V1.2.7.23803)

Looking forward to your real Huey collective!!! Don't rush it... ;-)

Website '223 squadron'?

Very nice looking pages! Professional, 'to-the-point' and clean... with no sensational "screaming banners"!! Good colour choice; white text reads easy on the dark-blue background! Easy on the eyes! Good font size too! Easy on the eyes too! Keep it up!

Sent PM too...

Dutch too and fly UH-1H exclusively... would enjoy joining squadron that's set-up for Huey...

Very good looking switch panels!!!! Just received Bodnar's "BU0836X' board... looking forward to connecting it to your works of art!! All in good time.. don't rush it!

Without answers to my questions placed my order just now too. Received email confirmation. Said it was the last one, so I guess we're "...moving this into the next stage...". Looking forward to that too ;-)

Q: - Possible to buy panels now, and then the collective later, once that's done? - At what point does the box...., where the collective is "mounted" on and which holds the Switch panels... become available? - Will you at one point sell the COMPLETE collective assembly (Box, Switch plates and Collective lever mechanism? If so, would it still make sense to buy the individual modules now? - Do you ship to the US Virgin Islands in the Caribbean?

Beautiful! A very nice back-lighting solution!! The fewer LEDs make it actually more realistic. You mentioned you "invented a wheel", but it sure ain't a regular wheel!! It's Jaroslav's Wheel!! :smartass: :smilewink: Look forward to see / hear more about the eBay site....
