  1. Wasn't asking for a refund either, nor a "bonus" (whatever that might have meant!). The way this has been going, I think it might be rather futile to still be hoping for either a refund or the actual collective levers being made, let alone delivered. 'Jaroslav' seems to be rather silent to say the least, and possibly hoping that as enough time has gone by, people will simply forget they paid him an advance for the Huey Collectives... Here's some info for those still seeking 'Jaroslav', and maybe living in the UK: CONTACT DETAILS Tel: +44 (0)782 859 5934 Email: sikulin@email.cz Location: London, UK Apart from calling him, I have been dealing with him via his email address, which petered out towards last October... :music_whistling:
  2. Bart (and other 3 "confirmed" customers), the above mentioned email of 'Jaroslav' was in reply to my JUNE email to him... following here below: "
  3. Hi Bart, Was recently reminded of him when I was sorting through my 'sent' email folder. Like you, I decided to wait and give 'Jaroslav' the benefit of the doubt... Have sent him a couple of emails since, but have heard nothing more in return since Oct. 10, his last email... see below: "...On Fri, Oct 10, 2014 at 2:58 AM, Jaroslav Krikava <sikulin@email.cz> wrote: Hi Herman Thanks for you reply. I'm sorry to hear that but I do understand your point of view. I gues I didn't comunicate much with you as my customers due to high level of stress and I needed to figure things out. Regarding the "deadline". I'm gonna have to keep my current job for five more weeks. After that I'm back in sim world, fulltime. So to answer your question, I'll be able to ship your collective by the end of November. This will of course come with some bonus for your patience. Please let me know your thought. Best regards Jaroslav...." Needless to say, November has come-and-gone quite a while ago now. Herman
  4. Sure looks like those that got involved with him got taken!
  5. Hi Ricnunes, Apologies for posting in wrong thread; realized it right after I posted, but for some reason am unable to delete my post from the (wrong) mission thread. Flew "Camp Medevac Base" mission, all working perfect:thumbup:! Thanks for the hard work :) On to "Humanitarian Aid Mission" now....:thumbup:
  6. Camp Medevac base... Hi Ricnunes, Thanks for the great SAR missions... nice layouts and great flying to be done too! Had a question about flying the "Camp Medevac Base" mission, where upon arrival / landing at orange smoke marker in camp nothing happened..., but after reading through this thread, you were already made aware of it  Am downloading the renewed 'SAR Mission Pack' now and look forward to rescuing some wounded soldiers who must have heard my Huey arriving and taking off without them numerous times now ... 'bout time to pick them up for real this time...:music_whistling:... DsPallasVi
  7. Hi Ricnunes, Thanks for the great SAR missions... nice layouts and great flying to be done too! Question: Flying the "Camp Medevac Base" mission, I take off from Kobuleti, fly to the camp south of the airport as direct via waypoints, get the message from copilot about orange smoke marker etc... arrive in camp, land close to, or right on top of the smoke marker and then... ....nothing. Sit there for at least 5 (five) minutes but no wounded are loaded into the Huey (see attached pic), no messages on the radio, nothing happening at all. Can't raise anyone on the radio, no answers. No 'F10' function to load troops either. Also tried landing between the two soldiers who stand there doing nothing, but nothing happens again. Fly back (empty) to Kobuleti, land at the beginning of the runway (right on the numbers ;-), and again, no directions. No idea where to find hospital or barracks. Then just fly to parking area and land where I took off from and quit mission, as nothing else happens anymore. Am I missing something in the mission? Doing something wrong?? :helpsmilie: DsPallasVi PS: Just realized there's a proper threat to discuss the various missions... have moved question to proper forum threat as I can't remove this threat for some reason unbeknownst to me
  8. Anybody heard anymore from our elusive "jaroslav'?
  9. Send Jaroslav an email stating the same as 'SyntaxError', plus asking for some more communications... but haven't heard anything since...
  10. " " Some kind of "friend"... :(
  11. Received an email from 'Jaroslav' two days ago.... " "
  12. Here's the latest email conversation I received from him, dated June 29...
  13. FYI, I've sent him an email (Jaroslav Krikava <sikulin@email.cz>) sent a message to his website (http://www.flightsimgadgets.co.uk/) posted a message here at his 'forums.eagle.ru/ [Jaroslav]' profile and posted a message at his YouiTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKVmWVEHwLZ1MDBp9B3mmeg) Am waiting for a reply...
  14. Anybody heard anymore from Jaroslav?? Status on Huey Colletive???
  15. Shagrat My thoughts exactly! Vampyre: Of course feedback from fans is important to the dev. team. But do you REALLY:( think the dev. team hadn't thought of "trees and buildings that burn" and "deep craters in the terrain" or "bogs, swamps, ponds, lakes, rivers, creeks, streams, rocky terrain, ravines, freshly ploughed fields, forest, jungle and sand dunes" to name a few examples. I bet they wake up from dreaming about 3D-HD-VR worlds that are nearly indistinguishable from the world we live in. Then..., after breakfast..., they face the real world of "limited PC power / financial resources" balance and make more compromises. The wishlist points are well taken, but shouldn't we wait first(!) until the new update comes out, and THEN see what can be checked off?!?:book:... Just a thought....
  16. Thanks Grimes, started to get that impression when no triggers had the desirable effect. Will find a way to work around it then. Am trying to put together a 'meeting way-point' in the sky for a trigger action to become active. The point would be at a certain altitude, but would not be active above or below that certain altitude. For example, a waypoint that consists of L/L coordinates 'X' and 'Y', and that also is active between, say, 1500 and 1700 meters. That way an aircraft flying over that 'X-Y' point, and flying at 1600 mtrs height would trigger a flag / action etc. But being above or below the "corridor' would not have any effect. Would that be possible at all? Appreciate your help...
  17. WOW!!!! What virtue patience is!
  18. Hoping someone can help me here: First time making mission with ME; - start AI Huey (set to 'Uncontrolled') via trigger, - after flying along various waypoints, can make it land anywhere where I want to; then can make it stay parked (active) on that landing spot for 'X' time, but cannot turn 'off' the AI Huey engine / lights. In other words, make it a "static" object, waiting for new trigger to start it up again. Tried a variety of triggers like: 'Group Deactivate', 'Group AI Off', 'Unit AI Off', 'Unit Stop', but nothing seems to stop the Huey from being active. Question: Is it possible at all to turn the Huey off after landing somewhere from a WP? If so, what is the command being used? Regards Edit: Sorry, was not clear enough; what I am aiming to do is make the AI Huey start-up by a trigger, fly it's route, land, shut down again, and then sit there in 'stand-by' mode (no lights, no spinning rotor) at it's assigned ramp place, ready to be started up again by another trigger later on, to fly it's same waypoint route again.
  19. Hand tracking news... http://mobile.pcmag.com/?origref=#!/article/53ff642fec0691b90c000177-leap-motion-jumps-into-virtual-reality
  20. Mod is lifesaver!! Flying Huey only, upgraded DCS from 1.2.8 to 1.2.10 and the existing 'clean windows' mod stopped working. It was disturbing to see how much dirt was on the Huey windows; like some 5-year old was playing with mud nearby! Was even considering trying to go back and find a way to re-install 1.2.8! This 'Less dirty windows' mod saved me from all that! Good job, Devrim!
  21. tusler, landed beside the runway a little later and they came walking up to the helicopter in total bewilderment... running back and forth, in circles at times, ...and if you wait long enough, they all try to run through the helicopter and take a nap right there and then... odd crowd!! :(:music_whistling::D
  22. Vid of flying / practicing dropping off troops with Wolle's "Load Offload Example Mission". While practicing slow flight, numerous take-offs and landings, the troops get a nice work-out too  ( ) Looking at the troops as they 'chase' the helicopter makes for a great focus to try and keep speed, distance and height all in check at (roughly) the same time :music_whistling: Found it really helped my take-off, flying and landing get a little better, a bit more controlled and a little smoother... edit: Sorry, I think this is the wrong location to post this thread... It should be in "DCS: UH-1H Huey » DCS: UH-1H Videos" thread, but saw that too late, and no idea now how I can delete this thread...:helpsmilie:
  23. Sorry, didn't see your question before... Didn't see cargo cam because I never selected the cargo (F6), so the camera never became active... at least, I guess that's how the camera works. Because after I selected the cargo, from then on, the camera is working properly... Hope that helps...
  24. Crazy Horse Campaign... Wolle, Just a little note; Last night flew the "flight qualification test" of the Crazy Horse Campaign! Very enjoyable! It took some time to figure out why initially I wasn't seeing the 'CargoCam' or why the Cargo-Net in the 'cargo-part' wouldn't hook-up, even after hovering over it at 10ft for a whole minute ;-), but all worked out in the end! The 'formation flying' is a nice touch!! :) These different tasks make it challenging and fun to work away at the campaign. An aside; Just figured out why DCS (and flying the Huey for me in particular) is so much more rewarding then flying in X-Plane or MSFS; at least we have a purpose, with missions and campaigns like yours, to fly to and fro places, and to test our skills in various ways! Thanks for the great campaign and look forward to more of your work!!
  25. Just tried making a new mission as VIMANAMAN suggested, and cargo does show up there too now. Checked existing missions and was able to change cargo-nets in those too into 'drums', 'bambie bucket' or jeep'. Of course, having no previous experience with 'Mission Editor' creating new missions, now I have created a new mission and all I see is the new cargo items sitting pretty on the ramp; except there's no Huey to actually fly in and try to move said cargo around... go figure  Guess I've got a long way to go to create any mission... even a basic one by the looks of it :D Have even more admiration now for the members who create missions and campaigns!!!!!!!!!! @Lizzard; thanks for the suggestion, but the 'UH_1 Cargo' mod is copied into the 'Mod' directory and have used JSGME to implement it... The cargo does show up, in a new created mission that is... or, after a modification, in an existing mission too now... thanks.
