  1. made 3 successful takes off but without the tail up , and almost stalled :) but i just can't seem to make the tail go up as the nose drills a hole into the ground more practice
  2. BTW P-factor would also occur with the tail draggers during take off roll ?
  3. maybe it has RSS
  4. I think i can try the take off in the 185F in Xplane and then see how good i am in DCS. It's the tail thing Both the essays from chief are worth printing out now i gotta find a printer
  5. I prefer increasing thrust slowly else the wings go rocking. i tried to raise the tail but you know i broke the prop :)
  6. If i get the tail up during the take off run i hit the prop :( i try to trim the nose heavy but i just can't get over the rocking wings.
  7. Great stuff again. Gonna read once more about the prop disc
  8. same here bad fps near trees, even when there are other aircrafts near by. Mustangs MOD does not seem to help.
  9. right aileron to counter the torque on take off.
  10. Thanks for the info.
  11. I am on a low end laptop and use it on MP and get between 15-30 fps. So it could be due to the laptop ?
  12. Confirm with the last update no fps hit.
  13. I don't keep any curves or deadzones for the pitch. But for the roll deadzone of 6 and curves 20 and this is with an extended stick by 2 feet.
  14. Yep the compass don't work , my other issue is loss of fps on throttle idle , if I give thrust fps jumps up but the moment i put it to idle fps is gone almost 50% and i am on a low end laptop.
  15. DCS has made me understand a lot about dynamics than any other sim. And this info is just fantastic to read. But i find give her a nose heavy helps. but i always break the prop by hitting nose on ground when i break , even when i am breaking like a pulse. Back pressure helps only at times.
  16. I prefer to trim her nose down a little with a slight right aileron
  17. Wow nice to read all that not that it got absorbed well in my gray matter :).
  18. Try this , trim her nose down a little a little right aileron slowly increase thrust
  19. I use right aileron little nose trim and increasing the thrust slowly , yes that rocking does happen sometimes , very small rudder input necessary
  20. I prefer a little nose heavy and some right aileron
  21. I really don't know how the real spit behaves but she just too agile
  22. Is she supposed to be this agile in real ?
  23. Thanks for the reply Red, I have mapped it already LALT + M but the image does not freeze, I will try it out again. BTW i land her without any problems
  24. Please anyone ? i need to switch off the mirror and even toggle mirror does not work
