  1. Didn't see that. Thank you Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  2. What processor/overclock, voltage? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  3. I will say, even the difference going from 3770k to 6700k both at 4.6, the 6700k did do better. I think the architecture has something to do with it. More efficient at same speed or some such Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  4. Curious as well. Doubtful it's different from the game requirements in regards to multi core Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  5. PA329Q is 5k, pro grade, factory calibrated for color accuracy, IPS, and 1300 bucks. There are more expensive but certainly cheaper. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  6. The pro art series of monitors from Asus are supposedly one of the better for photos and color accuracy. Some are better (read more expensive) than others. I have the PA248Q's and they're brilliant. That being said, the 246Q's have better fidelity and there are now 4K monitors in that line I believe Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  7. I was looking for a while before I settled on the steel series arctis 7's. Absolutely zero complaints and they're comfortable. Also like that you can change the ratio of talk to game volume, as well as passthrough for 3.5 mm jack so the speakers output sound when headset is off, and mutes when headset is on. Also fits the track clip pro Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  8. What did you do to mate the two? I have two torn down FFB2 joysticks at home and a fighter stick to do this but haven't found an ideal way to mate them Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  9. Sweet gear! Glws Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  10. If the time stays the same the entire time the computers on (unless you change it) that definitely sounds like a battery Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  11. In my estimation, you'd be hard pressed to find a new motherboard for that socket. When my z77 crapped out, new motherboards for that socket were more expensive than when new and a lot of the feature rich boards were not available new. It'd be more costly to upgrade, since your have to get new ram as well if you go z170 or newer. Dependent on CPU/RAM/Mobo you could easily spend 6-700 dollars. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  12. I think the newer chipsets and processor technology does make for a better experience fps wise in 1.5. When I upgraded from 3770K to 6700K over clocked to the same 4.6 I did notice an increase in FPS. Could be a combination of the newer DDR4 chipset and processor instructions. But it's there. I steadily get 60 fps with vsync on, on 5760*1200. It goes higher, but with 60 hz monitors there's no reason to run harder for me Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  13. Only capable of utilizing 2. One for sound, one for everything else Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  14. Should be more than enough Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah. With the prices 2.5 drives are, it's a definite improvement in loading times and map loading. Make sure to have good air cooling, as non reference video cards dump hot air into the case Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  16. Probably around the price of paying someone to do it, but you probably get to keep the license Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  17. Sounds like Sam Kennison is the RIO hahaha Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  18. In regards to liquid cooling, you would need to buy all that piece meal, which is expensive. Radiators, plates, hoses, pumps, reservoirs and fittings. Maintenance is required with those. They will get your system the coolest, but can leak or get algae. If you've never done anything with water I'd stick with closed loop and get a different Mobo Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  19. The motherboards intended for water cooling are usually open loop. If he's getting an AIO he doesn't need to worry about that. You don't need to really worry about RGB lights on your ram, or SLI either. DCS, when I sold my 780 ti's off, didn't support it. Don't need an i7 either. If you're just going for DCS, an i5 will serve you well. You can probably get a Sabertooth board and save 100 bucks. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  20. 4.2 vcore????? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  21. What's your vcore climb up to on adaptive? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  22. The video card should be fine. The problem lies in upgrading your CPU. It would be better to try to squeeze out what you can from it overclocking. If you get anything new, it's a new chipset, so it's a new processor, motherboard, and since you're on DDR3, you'll have to buy new memory as well. Before that though, I'd recommend to deactivate your modules, because you'll probably have to wipe your drive jumping chipsets. In that case, you may as well buy an SSD as well. Get some really good thermal compound and the best CPU cooler you can. That's about the only performance jump that'll be under your $400 mark Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  23. Should run fine. 2K, depending on how fast you get that 7600K running, should be above 60. Probably closer to 80. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  24. From what I've heard you have to really increase the vcore to get the 7700K's stable higher. I ended up sticking to 4.6 on my 6600K because the vcore (and then heat concerns in p95) needed to be increased quite a bit to run stable. I'm running 1.35 right now and still having minor stability issues on it. Water cooled with h100i Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
