  1. Well i'm only going to say this: you guys who are still flying DCS WW2 birds without FFB stick are missing so much. I would never fly without it again. Over and out...:joystick:
  2. It's in wrong way round at right side of tail. :)
  3. I assume you don't have FFB stick? because with MS FFB2 there is plenty on buffeting before stall, exactly like it should be according to pilot notes/memoirs.
  4. Me too, athmosphere in this game was simply fantastic.
  5. It feels bit slow yes. I don't have any facts about correct speed in my hands however. You must just anticipate it a bit, start to add revs before you pull out of dive etc and it's fine. Dora for example had much more advanced "Bediengerät", i believe this is why it have much faster prop pitch changes. Maybe Yo-Yo can confirm it works correctly?
  6. Yes, it's also stated in manual. There is not "late DB" tought, all of D models had increased ratings compared to A models. Most of K4's were fitted with DB or DC engines.
  7. Yep. But it also says this:
  8. Judging by weight G6 would be best. However i don't know how much other changes affected so i'm not totally sure.
  9. Actually climb/combat power ata is 1.45 :)
  10. ^Gotta agreed, jug was one of my favorites when i was kid. Did several models of it too, of course with Gabreski's colours... Will be interesting bird to fly in DCS for sure.
  11. Not yet, need to try it next.
  12. These are interesting, probably most weird looking paintjobs in K4's. Well done, thanks!
  13. Yes, it was there before latest patch but not anymore, only MW/fueltank content tab now?
  14. So there is no way to disable flare gun after latest patch?
  15. Practised quite lots of short stripe landings yesterday with full brakes and it felt exactly similar as before...in other words as it should be. Need to test again once i'm off the work.
  16. Yes, need to be more careful with temps now. Another step to right direction.
  17. Indeed. I've just read another real life bf 109 pilot (Väinö Pokela) sentences wich makes me doubt there is still something weird in DCS 109 trimming. He was very experienced 109 pilot as he flew them from 1943 to 1947. At some point, he became instructor to the new 109 pilots and he wrotes: "...to the students i adviced way (to jump out of the plane if needed): hold on the stick strongly and at same time wind up trimmer wheel to fully forward (nose down). Then let go off from the stick. Then pilot will fly off from the cockpit like a cork from bottle." Source: Bf 109 ja saksan sotatalous book by prof. Hannu Valtonen. (translated by me, may contain some minor mistakes) Now try this same in DCS and plane doesen't go down even slightly...
  18. One man skin factory :) Very nice job again, thanks!
  19. Yes, it's missing from DCS model, did bug report back then but don't know if devs noted it.
  20. Lt. Landt and his "Yellow 1", april 1945 :) JST's great new skin available here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2371065#post2371065
  21. Pure awesomeness, many thanks!:thumbup::thumbup:
  22. Not really, did some tests and at 400mph p-51 rolls around 3sec while K4 takes 5-6 secs. At 600km/h K4 takes 4-5 sec, mustang around 2-3 sec. But i believe Yo-Yo said there will be some stiffening to rudder too once they will find some figures.
