Any twin engine ac would be great, my favourite would be JU88. 1943/44 versions of already existing aircrafts. +As this is what if thread, 39/40/41/42 versions would be great as well :D

Funnily enough, based to the feelings, i have always felt that DCS 109 is closest to real thing of any of the flight sims out there. Other sims are getting closer with latest FM updates but DCS 109 is still in top in my opinion.

Indeed, there is prop pitch automation so just set correct ata and let the "computer" do the rest. 1.35 for take-off, 1.05/1.25 for cruise etc.

After 10 month of use i still love my jetseat but it seems lower left motor has stopped working now. Is there anything i could do myself to fix it?

I think is just best to ignore that guy. He doesen't even own the 109 module.

There is few mentions in (109) pilot memoirs of using flaps sometimes in tight turnfights. Seems to be more exception than rule tought. Russians also used them even their planes was quite good turners without flaps too.

You mean narrower, as the lenght was same from F to K. :) Personally, aesthetically my favourites are F2 and G10 Erla but i like rugged looks of G6/14 too. None of the versions are ugly imo but E's are my least favourites.

I do agreed that 190 have most modern cockpit and easy layout. But "chaos of gauges" in 109? C'mon, quite an exaggeration here...see attachment. Green=flight instruments, red=engine gauges.

+1 Fw 190 was better aeroplane, thats for sure. More robust, less tiring to fly, much more modern desing. But fighter vs fighter duels those things did not meant that much for experieced pilots who were used to 109. They would not benefit much (if anything) from switching G10 or K4 to D9.

Bad news then, gotta hope next version will be better.
