  2. As in title most aircraft have an invisible tailhook behind them. We've tested: F-5E P-51D Spitfire F-86 I would assume it wouldn't stop there.

Hi if you are talking about the 1.5 server this is like this because in the past we have found a tendancey for helicopters to harass aircraft and aircraft to harass helicopters causes many complaints so they are separated for this reason. It is only an hour flight in a helicopter to get to the nearest fixed wing spawn.
  7. Hi, Our server is run on a dedicated machine owned by a hosting company so I can assure you that the quality of the server is not the issue. There have been some performance issues with the new update in 2.1 relating to deferred shading, try disabling this. I spoke to some people that said they are not having the same problem as you they said it was running relatively smooth so maybe it is setting related. We are constantly looking for ways to improve performance but at the moment we don't think there is anything we can do to help with the performance. I don't think our server has reset your controls, there isn't any mechanism that we have control over that would reset your controls from our end those are local files stored locally.

  9. Lol basic physics, this quite clearly falls under fluid dynamics, if you've ever seen a fluid dynamics paper it is complicated, hardly simple physics.

  11. That is fine in a vacuum but in air the turbofan's increase thrust by pushing on the air.   12. Lots of respect for ED if they change this to 1.0 because it has been bugging me for ages the bomb effectiveness.

I've found the distance you can see other aircraft with VR is dependent on the supersample level, with about 2.0 it is only about 1.5-2 nautical mile and with 1.0 supersample you can see about 6-8 nautical miles, surely this should be constant with different supersample levels, I don't want to have to turn down my supersample level to be able to see someone at more than 2 miles. This is extremely irritating in dogfights because as soon as you pass someone they get smaller and smaller then just suddenly disappear at 2 miles even though you could see them before, hopefully this can be fixed soon, thanks.
  14. The delay doesn't matter when most servers only have only player position export on, to me this is the most frustrating thing.
  15. We noticed when we did get them working, the RB-15's would explode before hitting the ships resulting in no damage when they were attacking the bow, it seemed to be okay from the side.
  16. There is no scenario where you can be wings level, uncoordinated and not be yawing in one direction or the other and by yawing I mean heading is increasing or decreasing (just being completely explicit).

  20. Poor performance in the latest version (2.0.4.59188). Was getting ~60fps in most places. Now I haven't gone above 16fps while looking horizontal. If I start the f5e takeoff I get 16fps in VR and without VR I get 120fps there seems to be a new problem that has surfaced in this update any ideas?

  23. Surely the gazelle has this with it's HOT 3 missiles. Edit as far as I understand the RB05 is just a radio controlled TOW missile.
  24. There were two numbers 28:11:00 and 28 11 1967 but what do they mean.
  25. If you look carefully it is the same texture that DCS uses when there is no texture. I found it can sometimes happen when you are some way into a mission and you switch to the map. The map cursor turns to a square with no texture and the in game cursor turns to a circle with no texture.
