Was looking at this last night it looks like leatherneck has them inside the Entry folder in coremods because that is what the entry.lua references. The files in the entry folder are compiled lua that I encrypted which we can't change unfortunately. I wanted to put more smokes on but I've had to settle at changing the smoke colour.

Funny how both sides think their weapons are degraded in some way, almost like ED has a bias against everyone, or more likely they model based off of data. The mirage isn't bugged what are you talking about the missiles function perfectly fine. The A10 is an absolute beast compared to the nerfed Su-25t with reduced SEAD weapons and reduced SAMs so that the A10s are easier to use. I think the problem here is we are trying to do a Russia vs Nato in some places but not others. Riddle me this why if we are doing that at forward bases we have Mirage on Blue but on MiG-21 on Red 3rd Gen vs 4th Gen hardly fair. But then you have the Su25t having it's sead weapons nerfed and the sams nerfed to make it fair for the A10. We just need to have all aircraft on both sides with the same SAMs and then it will truly be fair or even just all full fidelity modules on both sides. -

Hi, if you check the changelog the narrow fov is already noted. It is not rear aspect only it can hit from the front although the tone doesn't appear to change when it does. Hopefully this is fixed soon. Also the flare resistance seems less than the aim-9m which I thought had the same seeker. Edit: Forgot to say if you get a tone then hold the UNCAGE (until you fire) it will let the seeker track the target allowing you to maneuver before firing, and more importantly keep tone for long enough to fire.

Hi, we've been struggling with this bug for a while on the VA finally pinned it down. It dumps around half the people off the server when it happens. To reproduce you need to request a pickup of cargo then cancel using the radio menu or crash into the ground destroying the helicopter. This results in a client crash and disconnects about half the people from the server you are in. Having just come off the 104th and got 5 kills, even though I'm not really current with combat, I don't really feel that VR puts you at a disadvantage. -
Just ordered an Occulus Rift sending back my vive (made the wrong choice). Anyone have an intel on if they plan on making orders on time for august and do we know if it is late or early august.

Just sent a return request to vive to return mine, and just put on order an occulus rift.

On any multiplayer it is always (with 1.0 pd) 45 and many times it drops to 30 which on the vive is unacceptable where as on the rift I believe it is still workable with ATW.

So I got a HTC Vive and a GTX-1080 less than a week ago. To be quite frank the performance is pants on all low settings with pixel density of 1.8. I was wondering what people were experiencing with the rift on DCS and whether I should send my vive back and order one of those. To put this into context a friend of mine using the Rift was using a 970 like I was we both received a 1080 he was able to crank his settings up to near maximum with pixel density of 2.5 and if I do the same it is unplayable. My CPU scored nearly 700 points more than his on CPU benchmark and we both have the same graphics card, so my conclusion in all of this is that the rift is far superior in performance on the Rift. Just a sidenote I tested both my CPU and GPU to see if they were being throttled or something they both came back with similar scores to that they are on https://www.cpubenchmark.net/. Would you guys agree with me on this one and should I send my vive back to get a rift? My specs are: i5 4690k @4.2 Ghz GTX-1080 2 TB HDD 16GB DDR3 Ram

I have to ask what settings are you running to get reasonable frames, I am running the vive with lowest settings on a GTX-1080 and an i5 4690k and I still struggle to get even 45 fps in some areas, and on mulitplayer I never get 90 fps. Edit: All settings on low bar texture settings on medium. Just tested on the p51 v 190 instant action. With the vive I get 45 fps with 1.0 pixel density and on a 1920x1080 I get 200+ fps with the same settings what is going on? There must be some optimizing that needs doing?

I tried the su27 a couple times, got about 500m from 250kts in a split S, Mirage didn't fair too well, took like 800m doesn't have the rotation speeds at low speed I feel. Edit: In 1.5.4

Source? I haven't seen anything that seems to suggest sound or texture mods cause issues for the server in any way.
