  1. No need to go that far for disctrics .. between 7000 and 9000 is better than 10 000 .. 7000 is a great number and gain fps.

" exceeds 20 players " Well that is the problem.. we need to find opponents adversaries to activate the interest of many pilots.. same as RoF if no new terrain map are made people loose interest .. if flying aircraft FM not AFM opponents people loose interest . what is the opponent of the P51 ? KA50 ? A10 ? maybe SU25's .. ,

I started this long subjects long ago and created the first mod about head position. head position has nothing to do with FOV, you should be able to get your favorite FOV but the point of origin of the eyes head position is a must and should be as realistic as possible. Pete did a great work and approaching a great result. Still slightly off because of using a misplaced point of origin. At the time I ask DCS to use a correct point of origin and send it to the 3D designer to create the 3D cockpit in relation of the correct seating position... Nope. IMO the sight should have different settings, game like we do have in the original DCS and realistic. Now using the VR glasses you will understand very fast that having 1:1 view and correct head position is one most importance. Like in IL2 the head position was set in the 3D model itself to fix this I had to correct the sight position from the 3D model it self. for example All my DCS/IL2/ IL2BoS/RoF/FSX do have a correct position and it so much more enjoyable and realistic. The neck in DCS is a great addition.. Fantastic I would say. :) I do have a big experience in aircraft in RL and this original sight disturbed me since day 1. I collaboration should be great on that matter to obtain a sim with a most realistic views.

  6. Realistic is a big word.. I hope the shade, reflections etc will be better because it's still very cartoonish to me atm... but it's hard to tell from pictures .. I hope for the best

  16. The Fun part of a simulator is to actually do things that you wont really do in RL or in much more safe ways to ovoid material and life lost.. Aerobatics, position aircraft to critical air situations to the limits and to the actual controls lost , landing and take off, hardcore maneuvers during fights but this goes under limits and aerobatics.. That is what make interesting an aircraft under AFM ... for years SFM was never enough and I am very pleased that we are getting fast away from it. ;)

  22. I just hate HDR.. something else must be done. Great on light .. not as good on shades We need Dynamics lights not HDR. Maybe using HDR name for the DCS serie isn't the right thing.
