  1. Perhaps even a world map on the 'Terrains' page, with available areas marked off, and when you hover the mouse over an area, it links you to that terrain's store page, where one can see a high-res map among other screenshots.
  2. Just a suggestion that the page for all terrains include an image file among the screenshots, showing the exact area of coverage. None of them seem to include this, and it's the main thing I'd like to know. I realize that we can often find some kind of map on the discussion forums, but I'd suggest that each page in the store should include something as well Just a little gripe, but I think there's some merit to it.
  3. I was wondering when one of the specialist controller companies was going to make one of these. I'd be very interested, and will follow this one closely.
  4. Managed to add it to my cart - ordered at the corrected price (seems like it was initially set at 30% OF the full price, NOT 30% OFF the full price) but now I can't access my cart to pay. Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow.
  5. Firstly, really really nice DIY TEDAC grips. Well done with that. It's a near certainty you'll be covered for the F-15E pilot and WSO I've been thinking of getting a Left & Right hand Virpil Constellation Alpha. The two aircraft I plan on focusing most time on (other than my favourite - the A-10C) are the AH-64 and the F-15E These joysticks will be able to cover most, if not all CPG (TEDAC) / F-15E WSO functions I'm currently getting by OK in the AH-64 CPG seat with a PS5 remote (I spend 100% of my time in the CPG seat with George as pilot - I currently cannot enjoy flying the AH-64 with my HOTAS Warthog, but that's just me, and I find the CPG role fascinating), but I think the left & right Virpil Constellation Alphas should help me cover the F-15E WSO functions and improve my AH-64 TEDAC control as well.
  6. I cant find this in mission editor. Can you please advise how to do this?
  7. I looked and couldn't find a wishlist item for this I am really enjoying playing as CPG. Perhaps there could be some training lessons set up to operate only from the CPG seat, which could cover more detailed aspects of the CPG role/s Hopefully this can be considered
  8. Has something changed? thought there was no plans for AI WSO
  9. Seems only fair for long-standing customers. I will be a first time customer, and will be happy to wait my turn. I really hope these will be popular, and subsequent batches will be made. And if they are really very popular, hopefully consideration will be given to additional things such as TEDAC controller etc, but one thing at a time Best of luck with great sales on these. I'll most certainly own a pair in the future.
  10. Morning all Loving the AH64 so far. I couldn't find other reports on this. I have a strange issue in Alt+F1 view, where I can see the CPG's floating/disembodied head (screenshot below) Is this a feature, for multiplayer(to allow the pilot to see the general direction the CPG is looking)? Or is it a bug? Thanks
  11. Has anybody tried using one of the keypads which can be added to the PS or XBox remotes? Something like this one below (made by Numskull). It appears they pair via bluetooth with the console (or via the controller, it's hard to tell), but I'm wondering if they will be able to pair with the PC and be seen as a device in DCS, where we could configure it as our Keyboard Unit. Anybody tried using one of these? Does it work or not? If it does, I think it would be pretty neat. I'm already getting a PS5 controller to set up as my TEDAC, as described above. Just wondering if this would be a worthwhile addition.
  12. Seems like latest Stable Version patch has addressed this issue, and a few others. Great, immersive campaign.
  13. Any chance of a TEDAC controller?
  14. OK, fair enough. I must have misinterpreted the OP after seeing the list which Bedouin posted. My mistake.
  15. Wouldn't it make more sense for the training missions to all be based in Caucasus, or possibly Marianas? Not everyone who buys the Apache will have bought NTTR. Don't get me wrong, when I purchase the Apache, I'll be flying around NTTR a lot, and building my own practice missions there.
  16. Just bought, and it appeared as available for download/install on my stable version, but it failed very early in the install process. Currently updating my open beta, which I don't use too often, in order to install this campaign.
  17. Not sure if there's some kind of programming barrier preventing this, but I tend to us this view a lot and it would be nice to not have to change back & forth to F1 view. I currently can't afford the Thrustmaster MFDs, which would clearly make this easier for the A10 / F16 / F18, but the Apache is coming along soon, and not even the TM MFDs would be completely helpful there, with the increased number of buttons.
  18. As stated in the title, instead of having to tweak *.lua files in Notepad ++, it would be very nice to have the ability to do this visually in some kind of GUI via the settings, i.e. the ability to click & drag and reposition/resize the various displays available in the Alt+F1 view. This would be very helpful to take max advantage of screen real-estate. Just a brainfart I had. I'm sure someone else has thought of this already.
  19. Figured it out - - Right & Left DDI size is controlled by adjusting values in 'ViewportHandling.lua' - I changed all values from 0.5 to 0.3 to reduce the size of these two displays - AMPCD size and position is controlled by adjusting values in 'AMPCD_viewport_cfg.lua' - I changed the values on lines 13, 17, and 18 from 0.5 to 0.3, and left the values on line 21 as they were at 0.5, because I eventually realized they control the position of the display, and leaving them alone keeps the display centered. In my initial efforts, I changed all values to 0.3, and the display was shifted over to the left, overlapping the left DDI. Might tweak the sizes a little, perhaps only for the AMPCD, but at least I got it figured out. Does anyone know if it's possible to display LSKs on Hud-Only view? Now that would be really nice. Anyway, in case anybody experienced the same thing, here's how to sort it out.
  20. A quick update I managed to adjust the size of the AMPCD, by adjusting values in the file called 'AMPCD_viewport_cfg.lua' But I cannot seem to find how to adjust the position of this display. Also, I cannot currently find a way to adjust the size nor position of the left & right DDIs - the corresponding files for the DDIs don't seem to contain the same adjustable parameters. In the folder 'C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit', I found the file called 'ViewportHandling.lua', which has the words '-- positioning on screen in HUD Only view', so this seems like it would be exactly what I need to make some adjustments to, but I cannot determine how to edit it to get the changes I might need. I will back the file up and experiment, but any advice from anyone who's experienced the same issue would be very much appreciated. Thanks Bob
  21. Hi Is there any way to manually change the size and position of the DDIs and AMPCD in Hud-Only view? I have a dual monitor setup (one on top of the other) and I am currently getting the view in the attached screenshot, which shows the view of both my upper and lower screen combined. Is there a *.lua file which can be modified to manually adjust the sizes of the left & right DDIs, and the AMPCD, so they don't overlap like this? Thanks Bob
  22. Training missions on April/May Free Access vs Paid Version? I took advantage of the free access to the Viper during April/May, and after a few days of enjoyment, I decided to buy it today I noticed that while trying the free access, the only two interactive training missions were Cold Start, and Taxi/Take-off Since I've paid for the full version, this has not changed I'm using it on DCS World 2.5 (NOT Open Beta) Do I need to remove the free module and re-install, or are the interactive training missions only available on Open Beta? Thanks
  23. Aerowinx PSX - 747-400 sim - screenshots Link to a collection of screenshots of the coming 747-400 simulator by Aerowinx. https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/77856321@N05/sets/72157629367177654/ I'm not associated with Aerowinx in any way, shape or form. I just think the effort this one man development team has gone to deserves some attention and recognition. The sim might be some way outside of most people's comfort zone in terms of price, but it's still nice to look at what one determined person can achieve.
