.....what i did was take a smart phone plug that has a usb port on the side of it....plug the headset usb into that......then plug that into a wall outlet or strip for the power..........the jack pin/pins put into computer as usual......by bypassing the computer for power.......this stopped all feedback and humming noises in my headset......hope this helps........:-)

how is the power to it....by usb plugged into computer?

....just a thought......one thing that i did that can help, is going to task manager and see what things are running on your computer that you don't need and turn them off or remove.......for me i had all kinds of things that i was unaware of that were taxing my computer.....best of luck....:-)

for dcs it will also show a destination folder at the top of the mission list in game......not sure if the same in FC2.......i had a hard time finding mine too......i had moved my game to disc D to save room on disc C. even with the game on disc D the missions were saved on disc C in User file/ saved games........anyway i know someone in the forum will know where to look

try looking in User file......i know for DCS that's where mine is......for FC2 may be different though......... hope it helps :-)

...i just did a full re-install of DCS world and all the modules today........i couldn't download new update xxxxxxxxx82. i had moved DCS from disc C to disc D last month.....only i never updated all the pathways from C to D so updates would not work......anyway deleted everything except user files. re-installed in D disc from the start, updated to xxxxxxxxx82 and then all modules installed from module manager........ all user files stayed the same, controller settings, missions etc........working great now:thumbup:........just happy i didn't delete user files with everything else.......:yes:

......this is really a great find jcomm,....as you said personal taste would be key.... being able to adjust it at loadout as Thor mentioned would be good......:-)
