Nothing against AMD but Intel Core 2 Quad 4 Q6600 has a good punch for the cash $ INTEL CORE 2 QUAD EXTREME 3.0G 2x4MB 65NM 1333MHZ (1YR WTY) CPU-BX80562QX6850 $1,147.00 CAD vs Intel INTEL CORE 2 QUAD Q6600 2.4G 2x4MB 65NM 1066MHZ (1YR WTY) CPU-BX80562Q6600 $297.00 CAD Ouch not worth the extra for the punch.... well not now...

It's time for AMD to bring out there quad, to compete. Does Intel has the market at present? I love AMD dont get me wrong, competions is always good.. I remember 3 years ago, when all was screaming AMD is the best. Myself still hanging with Intel with my old prescott. I new Intel had something under their sleeve, lol. Now it's out. Will AMD make it? To break this Intel market? Let the better CPU win, no matter who is better, the competions is what the market requires. They ARE both good. In the End, Intel or AMD, Well if either bring you pleasures, then it has no matter. True question of budget. But not sure how much will sell there quad. But Intel has squashed lots of the market with the Q6600... Your impressions, not being a AMD vs Intel, but compare the benefits and flaws... etc...Remember, it's not about the buyer, both CPU proved there worth. Cheers. My first choice Intel. AMD was always known to be a conservative choice for pricing. I reckon this is no longuer applicable. Gents this is only my opinion, like I sayd, competions is good, and let them battle it out. For me Intel vs AMD has no real meaning. I bought Intel since it had the benchmark marker with a good price. AMD was and still laging behind...

Bump, I know it’s a feature, I think it would benefit the experience and it is available from the technologies available at hand. Maybe down the road? Beta testers? Wags? ED? Any Ideas in this area that you’re considering? Going forward into the future? I think implementing these features would be necessary to capture the audience. True it might be outside the scope of the Ka-50 or is it? Keep up the good work. Looking forward, never the less for BlackShark. Regards Moose

Hi, Since DCS-BS will be a new stand alone product, any possibility to integrate built-in AA (Anti-Aliasing) and AF (Anisotropic filtering) application support? For sound, High Definition EAX? Thanks in advance Regards Thanks in advance, Regards, Moose

If you have a wife that lets you learn and fly hours in lomac sky’s and hang out with your buddies in the process on Teamspeak. Then she is a keeper. Bless her. Don’t let her get away, lol. ;) Cheers -
DCS: Black Shark - Q&A **READ FIRST!**
TheMoose replied to EvilBivol-1's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Thanks ED, Wags and all Beta testers. Please blow my pants off with this challenge. Cheers PS question: I know there will be some sort of pdf format for the manual. Possibly and expected, you might be able to buy it online. My question is: will it come with a default key card? It would very useful. Please consider a default key card for the average Joe that wants to learn all. And Not a PDF key card please. Please include a piece of carton in the distribution box with this inside. Basically what I’m requesting is some type of default key bindings to allow myself to learn and challenge myself. Keep up the good work; I am looking forward to this Chopper. Been waiting for years, and will wait more until you think it’s acceptable by your standards. You have high standards; I applaud you for being as such. I admit I was sad knowing that BS will not be part of LO as bragged about on your main website for 2 years. Things changes, Technologies as well. The idea of building a core engine and building around it with the add ons, is and awesome idea. You have my support. But hopefully the purchaser of the core engine will be able to benefit of any upgrades made on thereof without being obligated, to re purchased? This is where I’m concerned about the product. I am willing to buy a core engine with a add-on. But the next add-on will mostly will require additional tweaking. Will you bring out a core patch without touching the addon? Etc. For some reason some customer might not be incline with the next add on, will he be obligated to spend more money on a bird that he does not want to fly, just to keep up with the standards of MP flight? Sorry I’m new to this marketing strategies. I’m trying to understand it. Thanks PS: I will buy them all, This is me. You have all my support. -

Talk about service. I bought an Nvidia 6800GT from BFG, like 5 years ago. There credo, life time warranty and over clocked, stocked. I have to admit when I bought that card, was like 600$ at that time. (sorry addict to lomac) Anyhow short story, I burned that card, recon over use (Never did had to overclocked at that point, wll maybe my old cpu, but shut, lol) I was surprised, no receipt required, they replaced it with an Nvidia 7800GTS with 256Mb no questions asked. Took a bit of time since AGP flavor are getting rarer. Got to love service that with only there name branded on there product, they commit to it. So my 2nd PC is up. Cool BFG, surpassed my expectation on support and their commitment on there lifetime warranty, for a company to stand on such principals, it takes lots of gusto and cash to commit to such... I wanted to share this small story, just in case you are considering an upgrade on your vid card. Anyhow from personal experience. BFG does stand tall. (PS: no I don’t work for them. I'm just the average Joe that was blessed by there service.)

Wags, ED, Beta testers, can you clarify the need of this community about sporadic & dynamic weather patterns? It would be a blessing of having such features.
-
aaah, ok then? lol. I only see a beauty waiting for my hands;)
-
Can ED or anyone allowed, share some lights on the marketing strategies as what we can expect in distribution in North America? Still to soon to ask? I know, I’m to anxious, seeing a new website. I feel the light, although still dim, at the end. But I can’t wait to put my hands on this beauty.:smilewink:

Thanks Wags for clarifying some of rumors that was up there. Looking forward to test and fly this babe out. Long live Eagle Dynamic and all its crew. Keep up the awesome work. My credit card is waiting anxiously, lol.

To sweet. As for the pic is concerned, looks like DX9 shaders or I maybe I'm wrong. No matter, still looks awesome. Cheers

NOW can we get rid of the Kuznetsov?
TheMoose replied to SwingKid's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I would say no, do not remove the Kuz. Prime example would be what Cold40Five has already mentioned, creating different and interesting scenarios. On a plus side, would be interesting to land the Ka-50 on the Kuz. I for one do not comprehend the fascination to remove the Kuz or other objects. They only need to update the 3d model and splash on a high res skin.:D -
You are correct Konkussion. Especially if you use the transparency feature. Even FSX disables it before launching. I tried and disable all Aero features for testing. I was getting less crashes, but I still had some, but less is the key word. Then again, none would be premium. lol

DCS: Black Shark - Q&A **READ FIRST!**
TheMoose replied to EvilBivol-1's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
WOW impressive new site. My question: How will the distribution be like in Canada? Beside the possible download purchase. Would we be able to get a copy at your local EB game or future shop store? If you can buy the DVD/CD only online, from where and how long and costly will it be to ship it to Canadians? Cheers
