TheMoose replied to TheMoose's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Just found a great review on my video card. Pilotasso, this might give you a better idea on the improvements and the capability of the card. Most likely you already investigated it ;) Review: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/7972-evga-geforce-gtx-280-1gb-superclocked-review.html Cheers  Looking forward to attempt to max out Black Shark :D -
Just upgraded to a EVGA GTX280 SUPERCLOCKED 1GB
TheMoose replied to TheMoose's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
My previous card was an Nvidia 8800GTS with 320Meg. Improvements with my new card are basically maxing out all my games. Even Crysis at full graphics with AA enable is playable. :D -
EVGA GTX280 SUPERCLOCKED 1GB HDTV I love maxing out my games  I'm VERY satisfied with my purchase. check it out at http://www.pccyber.com/?v=product&i=VC-EVGA-01G-P3-1282-AR Only downfall with this card, it required an upgrade on the power supply, so I went with a Corsair 750Watt. I'm I a happy camper? :D Most definitely

Why not just press SHIFT-N when it happens? Easier IMO ;) -

TheMoose replied to Mustang's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Humm, sorry I don’t know, I don’t use SLI... Never had too upgrade to that level so far ;), actualy seing all the SLI issues, I prefer, when required to upgrade to only 1 BIG card :P and sell my previous one...I'm actualy due for an upgrade... But so far I'm very impressed, they seem very stable with the Titles I tried; Crysis Call of duty 4 Grid Racer Battlefield series Assassin Creed, Etc... If you don’t try it, then you will never know I guess, lol :D -

Never mind 175.19 go straight to beta version 177.79 from Nvidia. They Rock ;) Very smooth for Lockon  -
Quick question about tactics.

Always depends on your bird of prey of choice, your entourage, your "backup", your mission goals, etc… -

for Nvidia 175.16 that did not resolve this issue, but forcing AA to at least 4X, as mention from =RvE=Yoda did fixed it... Weird, not sure what would be the root cause... Anyhow, thanks to all... Cheers

What is your preferred combat helicopter and why??

Bell 47: I know this bird isn’t much to look at, but once you ride in one. Myself, long time ago at the age of 9 years old. WOW. It would have impressed the hell of ya. Myself I call it the bubble copter, where your feet lays, man you see underneath lol. Seeing your house from high altitude at that age, would and will impress you. An experience that I will never forget…:D One Bell 47... Punny as it might have seemed, this bird contribution, especially as a medic evac, took it's place in history… -
Variety is the spice of life. Although, that I’m thankful for the dedicated servers on HL. I admit, they need to spice it up. Same old stuff are getting borring…

Awesome MOD. Huge thanks Sim-mod team. The only issues I had was the alignment changes to the weapons and tatti tanks on walmis F15, but thanks to the community, I was able to re align them. Curious on what would be your next project? A mig29 maybe ;) Again Thanks Cheers

I thought that the AA was off, it was not in the app control . I turned it off, I also changed from Renderer = "DXRenderer.dll"; to Renderer = "nv4_disp.dll"; Anyhow, seems to be fine now, thanks anyways. PS. Deal with it was not a type of response I was looking for. But no biggy. Cheers

Trying to get back into it....but
TheMoose replied to *Rage*'s topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Thanks guys, the Creative ALchemy (X-Fi Edition) 1.00.30 software fixed my issue with the loud engine sounds under vista, it was not required to modify any files under Lockon. I think this should be a sticky for Vista users  -
I finally found a footage on this bird in action. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=aO7JvhvCmPw

Is a dedicated option very high on the priority list for DCS? If so, any timetable on this feature? Have they started testing with this feature?
