Wait, so this fix, it must be about a bug that prevented the numbers to change then elevation was changed right?
Now it cycles on every bar. So if you are in a 4-bar scan you will get 4 different readouts cycling. It CANT be right...right?
So now the radar TDC floor/ceiling numbers change/cycle between every bar scan. Is this a bug?
Extremely unuseful and annoying. Hard to quickly review where your radar is looking. It was much better before when the floor value was always taken from the lowest bar scanned and ceiling value was always taken from the highest bar scanned.
I can also report seeing a noticeable performance improvement in VR. I haven't scientifically logged performance counters, but I can feel how it is smoother.
Don't know about that. But it seems like boxing TRIG or not boxing it, makes no difference. And actually pulling the trigger while TRIG is boxed to manually lase does nothing right now. The laser will fire automatically if you drop a GBU-12 whether you want to or not.
I would care to venture a guess that the automatic lasing should NOT happen if TRIG is boxed. Probably bugged as it is now.
Yes. Noticed. Idk if I'm doing something incorrent, but the LTD/R switch also turns itself off after every lase, so you have to turn it back on every time. Really annoying.
The whole "TRIG" logic appears to be gone completely, at least with bombs.
According to this chart one could carry 4 BRM Rocket pods. This is currently not possible in game.
Has this been changed since release of the module or will it be added?
Huh this has never happened to me, that the AP-channels all go out?
Yes Alt-HOLD is automatically engaged when Hover-HOLD is turned on.
Alt-HOLD is not disabled when disengaging Hover-HOLD.
The only thing that concerns me with your statement is the "when I'm moving and press autohover" bit. You should be in a hover already when engaging Hover-HOLD, or at least not be moving more than 7km/h in any direction.
Try to record a track or video and post here so we can analyze the behavior you're describing.
Agreed. And this with the new proper FLIR rendering system. Right now I don't think any TGP actually looks at contrast. It will only lock on to a DCS "unit" if you're looking at it. Not a tree or a building. Light has an impact though for the Shkval system as it won't lock on to anything when it gets too dark in the evening or early morning.
KA-50 New cockpit was mentioned was going to be in this update in the previous Weekend Newsletter. No mention of this in the Patch notes. I hope it's in.
