  1. From my point of view......the mission is action packed......a lot of fun......based on real world events......and if that's not enough for you...........the reward at the end.
  2. I see in real world photos of the KA-50 that the cockpit glass is heavily tinted (green). Would that be difficult to mod for the external view of the KA-50? Would that be part of a skin template? Forgive my ignorance.
  3. Thank you for the quick response...everyone.
  4. Regarding radio protocol, is it pronounced as a word or are the letters spoken individually?
  5. I have viewed videos where AH-64 pilots are firing Hellfires (who hasn't?). I noticed that there are situations where no radio transmission was made before firing and then I've heard where the phrase, "Weapon away, " was used before firing a missile. During MP I have heard some guys use the term, "Rifle." What is the proper terminology that is used by American helo pilots when firing missiles?
  6. When used on the radio, is BUK pronounced as a word (it means Beech in Russian) or are the letters spoken individually? I know the different SAMS included in the BUK system have their own names...so I'm confused. If it is pronounced like a word, is it pronounced "BUCK" or "BUKE?"
  7. The one aspect of CROSSTALK that is missing IMHO, is background noise. There is always an amount of white noise when PTT is activated. Plus you have jet/prop/rotor noise in the background as well as electrical interference and in the case of chopper pilots, some vibration in the pilot's voice. ARIES emulates this effect quite well. Is there a way of modifying CROSSTALK to emulate background noise? The only downside to ARIES as I see it, is that everyone else that you are communicating with needs to have it. The advantage of CROSSTALK is you can be the only one using it. Which is great, because you can go to any public server and enjoy the effect.
  8. Is that class (Rotary Badge) open to non-members?
  9. I'm enjoying the instruction....WELL DONE and thank-you. Would you happen to have material regarding radio procedures when operating at a FARP. I'm assuming there may be some differences...there may not be.
  10. Great mission. Blooze is truly a jewel.
  11. Come on.....who deserves it more than you???

  19. I just recently purchased a Hyper X Cloud headset. It sounds great and the microphone does the job. My only issue is that I can't hear myself when I speak. With my cheap, old Logitech (which was recognized by Windows 7 as speakers) I could go to speakers properties, listen tab and UNMUTE the microphone slider which would allow me to monitor what I said. There is an option to LISTEN TO THIS DEVICE but that causes a delay which would elevate my already tenuous mental condition. The microphone slider that can be unmuted in speakers properties with the Logitech doesn't exist when the Hyper X is plugged in. Any suggestions are appreciated.
