+1 More functionality should absolutely be part of the A10C-II, would love to see a mostly complete suite 7 set of tools.

Agreed threat rings, both preplanned and donner, and custom zones should absolutely be added. Its not like the tech for them doesn't exist either.

IMHO what has been done is not a realistic depiction of the performance of chaff against missiles. The previous value was just a better representation. Now they did do this not for that specific reason but they should go back to that value for realism purposes or just remove chaff outright till it can be reworked.

Right I was more talking about latter in a mission when a flag is turned on or unit is killed. Not necessarily at the start. -
Pretty much in the title it would be nice to have this setable on the unit card instead of having to do it through the triggers menu a pretty simple QL option imo.

I have a copy of the 2008 -1 manual for the A10 and I was shocked when I first looked through it how much functionality the TAD is missing. We have maybe 20% of what you can do on the page. I was wondering is the -2 A10 module going to expand upon this page at all?

Right and I see no reason that this would preclude the sight from being accurate out to the maximum range it can do so.

Ummm no the shells can make it that far we can debate effectiveness of said shells at said distance but they can fly as far as in the above vid.

I'm in full agreement swift, i'm still of the opinion that the M61 dispersion is still too high. For example we know from both pilots and a USAF film (which I can't find anymore unfortunately) the F104 had an 80% dispersion circle under 4mills and a 100% value under 8. Which is what is sated in the F15-34-1-1 The AAA Vulcan using the default circular clamp has 5mill dispersion value. I also had this footage for the F18 which would seem to indicate this as well. All the rounds fall within 30-40'ish ft from a 6000ft firing range. Which would indicate a 100% circle of around 5-7mills. (target is 20ftx20ft poles are another 5-10'ish ft from the target) Edit: They are in all probability using PGU rounds hence the longer range.

Yeah its a pretty cool weapon and it seems its more advanced guidance is modeled as well, as too how well I have no clue, but it is at least different then normal LGB's. -

The GBU-24 was fixed by ED last patch! hopefully it doesn't get broken again! Can't I looked into that a while ago, the EDM files as far as i'm aware are ED's own 3d model format which you export too but not export from. -

Its taken what 8+ years... man i'm just so happy right now; a big thanks to Wags and Habu for making this fix happen. After all the years of threads to finally, essentially be vindicated and to get a more accurate FM that will be more fun as well. The wait was long but the results should be worth it. -

The current 27R only got lift changes no drag changes so in essenece the AA10A is a lot slower than the mod (check first post) and the ER is a bit slower then the mod. Here's how the R77's compare: Blue is new ED drag with new thrust Yellow is old ED drag with new thrust Orange is my drag with old thrust Silver is my drag with new thrust Current mod uses old thrust my drag, will update that in the next update when I get a chance. -

Yeah adding weapons causes issues in other files that breaks things hence my statement of having to use an existing weapon. I don't know if you can just add the HAWK missile itself though, if you can get the weapon name I don't see why you can't just add it the same way you did the 9x/120. Not sure where the name is though maybe check in the scripts/database folder and see if it declares a "loadout" for the HAWK launcher unit. If it is in there then try seeing if copy pasting that name works. -

I havn't touched it recently due to it both still working and just a lack of time as well. I'll look at pushing out an update maybe with some changes to bombs and what not when I can look at it. Hmm I think in theory you could, coppy paste the stats into an existing missile the F14 has and then see if you can tell it to load the 3d model for it. Not sure if it will work, never tried, but hey if it does man that'd be awesome Yeah for all the older missiles I can't really touch guidance that much, I tweaked the PN coefs for a few missiles but raw guidance changes I can't really touch. It seems that the newer stuff has a few more things you can tweak, and I want to see if I can adjust the AIM7 to be a bit more agressive under 5miles, but again can't make a ton of changes. -
