MfG Polychop Simulation Team
  2. @Sephyrius: I did not know that there was such a VOD pay stuff in there, so appologies for that. We will come to that in a different post though. About your 206 experiance, that is nice to hear. One thing though, 206 and 58d Kiowa Warrior are defenately not feeling anything alike ;) and this is confirmed by all the testers that, cause they have all gone through the TF67, which is a 206
  3. Hi Nanne118. There is a reason why it was removed in the export versions. Why I do not know the contracts of the exports, but matter of fact is, this little device there is called CMWS or pilots call is "Seemaws". It is a pretty usefull and small but awesome device that is connected to sensors outside of the aircraft. I do not want to spill to much about it, but we hope to be able to show it soon in action in a video. Step by step but steady and you will reach the finishline I hope I could help you a bit on your question, and no, you will not find it in the kiowa manual on the internet that was issued 1999. The system was not operational by then, so it can not be in any document you find online. Cheers
  4. @todd022 It is not only about the mastbumping, it is more about the fact that the blades flap and hunt freely, which makes the fullyarticulated rotorsystem more "twitchy" aswell then a underslung system. That also results in the fact that it is more responsive and agile aswell.
  5. as I see it, the OH58a/c is not more agile, cause it has a underslung rotor. As far I see it, the articulated rotorsystem of the OH58D is more direct and more agile
  6. yes it is planned, but the systems both are still in the coding process
  7. Ha, the IP is actually explaining the startup procedure, where he wants to see the SCAS off when he goes through the precrank phase. :D The croatian birds do miss the rwr and the cmws/eoms system. Well, I think that really is some stuff they should have kept.
  8. Wings do not snap off from constant over g. first of all, they start to bend and twist a bit, which causes the plane to be constantly out of trim, so flying a straight line or level without controlling it to do so gets practically impossible and if the over g is close to wingbreak, laminar of the wing comes off first. After that a wingbreak might happen.
  9. :D:joystick::pilotfly::joystick::D Do not hate him. He is a really great person and if some plans will work out you will hear some more about him.
  10. @Darkreaver1980 it is the helicopter that had first a glass cockpit integrate in the western world. So back in the days it was a ultra top modern helicopter and partially ahead of its time. Over the year this project had a few upgrades, but was always hold a bit back in favour of the RAH66 program, that unfortunately was cancelled. So basically the RAH66 was build with the knowledge and lessons learned from the Oh58D Kiowa Warrior and the AH64
  11. in the later part of the video I dropped the purple smoke, so that might answer your question ;)
  12. Our active OH58D team is a total of 2, excluding the testers. APKWS lasercodes are set manually by groundcrew in RL. So if you have a laser designator operating on that laser frequence it will find the target. The laser of the kiowa warrior and even of the drones or any other laser targeting system are in general not operating in a visual wavelenght. The visual lasers are not used on the mms. The kiowa warrior has one visual laser located at the gun that is not movable.
  13. @toilet2000: The minigun has never been mouse controlled, it was always controlled through the headtracking system. You talk about bugs like the sound bug which we have made a true statement about. Please guys, if you talk about stuff, stay constructive and with the facts. Helps the community, the product and in the end the team behind the product. Thanks
  14. Well, Fragal, maybe you investigate, cause the lighting issue has been fixed months ago. Sorry, I leave this to the community manager. About what you want, and what we decide on our side as company for x reason is in our hands. We have stated that as soon the new technology is read to be implemented into the Gazelle it will be done. Apparently the new technology is not ready for the Gazelle yet.
  15. Question, why do you not contact us first of all ? We have been always open for talks, but 35 pages ? We do now what bugs are there and where flaws are or are not, so what is your real intetntion with that overdone bug report. Does any of the people have real experiance in helicopters? What are there backgrounds, are they valid to be SMEs for a Gazelle ? So please, maybe contact us directly, cause we are open for talks anywhere, which anyone can have witnessed during the past weeks, months. Thanks a lot for your work though. Edit.: Posting pages of conversation will not change anything plus, I have the feeling there is a hunt on the Gazelle here. So as long as you try to take apart a person with posting screenshots then ok, cool, but in the end, we have mentioned numerous times that things will change, but not yet. We have stated that the new technology will be incorporated into the Gazelle as soon it is finished and ready to be inserted into the Gazelle, which is not the case yet.
  16. @Kazansky222 and others that come up with wordslik, I hope x y z steps in and takes over or fixes stuff. How would you feel about owning something and your neighbour says someone has to step in and take over, just because the person thinks he knows something about you but basically does not know anything about the facts given and only has his assumptions? So please, first of all, stop talking trash, thank you. Other then that, we have x y z data available about the missile, and even if you do not like it, according to the data, which can partially be found in the internet aswell, we have build a missile close to what we have as information given. Other then that, Mistral has not been in the game and we hit limits, but that is something we have to clear with ED and how much access we had in terms of weapons. Thank you a lot for your comprehension and as long as you can only base your complains on pure assumptions, or words like, imho common sense, etcetc, we have a ton full of common sense talk from customers, may it be weapons, flightmodel or rwr or else, but nonof them ever provided hard fact numbers or papers. So thanks, we have a bag full of that, but nothing ever helped, so itis useless baggage. we take critisism very serious, but when you have only an opinion andcan not provide papers, then it is useless and only filling forum post for nothing. Thanks for your reading Have fun in the virtual skys
  17. @RIVER: What alien stuff did he do? Maybe you can explain more about your amusement?
  18. We have not stated that there is an issue. Simple fact is, that we have reached out to prrofessionals to help improve our product and assist us as soon they are available at some time this year. There is a reason whywe do not acknowledge or deny an issue, cause we wait to see what the evaluation of the professionals will add to the quality
  19. @Ramsay: Thanks you. @GGTharos: Our pleasure. So I hope this huge discussion can be settled to a more professional tone ;)
  20. Please try to use the repair function of DCS World and see if the issue presists. Thank you
  21. @GGTharos: We have been there before right ? So please provide us documents about your knowledge about the Mistral missile used by the french forces, including the info you have about the burntime of its engine and drag coefficient. Then we can compare our info with yours, thanks. Anything about asking me not to make anything up does not help the conversation ;) About Matra and the other missiles included in a module of a different developer I am not saying anything, cause it is not my bussiness to judge it either.
  22. Effective firing range means that this is the NEZ of the missile. So basically 6m NEZ, and a higher range on head on engagements
  23. There were reasons. I am not going to debate them outside of our bussiness, sorry.
  24. The OH58D Kiowa Warrior has a different loadout then the Gazelle. The rocketpods themself can use a bunch of different warheads, including the AKPWS. So I would disagree that it is similar to the Gazelle.
