hey guys, can anybody give us pictures of the hangars and maybe the inside. i also need the hight of the hangars. the side dimensions are no problem just the hight is an issue i cannot figure. that would be a huge help, cause right now i am building the main hangars which are located all over the base area

and for smoothing, do not use turbosmooth, use smoothing groups, then you do not get these ugly edges at the round nose

that is a good advice from grimes, but everybody has to figure his own best way. i for example modelled everything from one box, which makes the development time such a pain in the budd. but when you go for detail like the gunside and the refuel hatch you have to be sure that you saperate the 2 sides again so that you do not model gun and refuelhatch for example equally on both sides at the same time

well, it is just one thing i noticed with the model, i have nothing against it, it is cool, that somebody has the time to try his best on that bird. we as simmod team work on several birds at the same time, but, as everybidy could see, our forum is still down, so we are a bit on a traffic jam of work. to the detail, this is just the fact, and well fps, that has to do with diffrent things then most think. you should not go over 100k poly total, thats right, but the fps hit comes from a diffrent source of a model, but that not the point here. it is just a statement for us as simmod team, that the level of detail would not be enough, that all that there is to say, with all respect to thier su27 model and work

i looked at the detail of the model, how many polyies did you use? @shamandgg: for simmod, the detail of the model is not enough, just remember the detail of the a-10, and the f-15 we are work on right now. when that would be a joined work, or they want to have the simmod as official supporter, the level of detail needs to be way higher

i hope the ah-64 apache, cause that is the reason why i would buy BS we can fly the a-10 in lomac right now, so there is no urgent need for it, i think, as 3rd project the a-10 would be a good choice, so that we have the transfer to fixed wings slowly

well, the damage model still needs to be done, but right now we have to talk about the model itself, sorry for delay, but such things happen. to the cockpit light, well, we will see what we can do. to the lod model, yes that is allready one thing we did with the a-10 and sure it will be done with the f-15 too. and at last, no it is not project firefly, this is the project albino, what pilots call the f-15c

hi updates i had the bird integrated into lomac once so far for a test, but do to the simmod forum crash everything was slowed down, cause we had no ability to coordinate our team. i guess there will be some screenshots after everything is agreed by the team

well have a lock at real once and compare then in real life with planes. do the same in lockon and try to figure it for yourself, i cannot tell you the exact scale size, thats why you have to see it for yourself

hi, nice, but one thing. can you maybe have a check on the size of your complete model, cause in real life they are by far not that huge like yours. believe me when i say, the batman beamer is 50% smaller then your lights

hi, we talked about the vapours allready, but right now we have not made any decisions at all. i also thought about new burners, night and day, but that would illiminate all the other burners in lockon, do to the hardcode, but this is not decided yet either, so guys, just post ideas, might give us a good input. we discuss alot of ideas, and sort out, so when you guys have idea, it might be or not be, that you see such a thing with the new model, but you can be sure, that we have very good reasons why we make your choices

well to the magic barrel role, it is a real manuver, to overg the missle, so there is no magic to it, talk to real pilots, they will tell you that this is one last choice the pilot might make, but it is a good chance there, the he gets killed, i refer to the first post of this threat.

such a top ten list is a bit hard to tell, cause they all fly, and have thier advantages and disadvantages. i think there is only one helo, the eurocopter tiger, only one thing that bothers, has not enough weapons. no helo could match the avionics and weaponsystem of this helo so far, proven even by the russians. 2nd would be the apache and the kamov.
