well i do not want to jump to far ahead what concearns the new f-15, but it is getting further and further. wings are done. i m working on the cockpit still now, cause there are many many details that i have to take a look at. i will post some new pictures when i have solved a few problems that occured right now with some ugly edges greets boom boom

thanks raven for the final information on the crash, i really appreciate it, cause, damn yes the question comes to my mind when i think about this crash which is natural, at least when you are a noisy person like i am. we could say that it was destiny or that it was a technical defect or what so ever it might be that runs through our minds, there is one fact that will not be changable, that kevin davies is dead, like many other pilot died before him, cause it is a dangerous job they do, but to be honest, i rather die in a jet then in a bed when i turn 90 years old, have no sex no other cool stuff to do, cause i am tiered of life. well i have one question, are there new argumentations in DCS to animate the pilots, cause, it really really is a pain in the ass to animate the pilot to look like a real pilot, cause in lockon we only have the head animation, and well maybe some know that i am buliding a new f-15c for FC with a new detaillevel never seen before as f-15, with a new pilot which has some nice animations too. just as a thought of mine, when ed wants to remodel the pilots, the should also make new argumentations for the pilots, as there are, pilots head, right arm and left arm, torso of the pilot so that he can be move in the seat a bit, for example when he turns around to look back, the pilot normaly has to lock around the seat. but well , for which kind of planes do you guys need the pictures of the pilot exactly, cause there are some differences between an eagle pilot and an viper pilot. maybe you guys should talk to the simmod team, cause we are building new pilots right now. one is done, the eagledriver, and a new su27 pilot will follow in the next few days. would maybe save alot of workingtime greets borchi_2b (boom boom)

hey SKF thanks for posting. the airshow was ok, but i think next year i will travel to england to watch the international royal air tattoo. the german government was not so pleasent to the people who went to the ILA at the 1st of june, but well i nearly got all the pictures i wanted to get. and the best is, i have had some walk arounds, also the eagle ;-) i saw somw details on the jet you will not obviously see on fotos, but now i see the details that were not obvious no worry, walmies model is nice but i do not like it

well walmis f-15 is not bad, i just know the eagle very very good, and everytime i look at walmis modell or screens of it i see all the shape mistakes. sevear is the nose, but also the gun area etc etc, there are so many mistakes, thats why i decided to remodel the "ALBINO"

well right now my eagle has 25k poly and we will see in the end how many it will have.

well i see what you mean. believe me when i say that this eagle will be detailed like hell :-) just takes time, thats all

we will check it, maybe there is some way to fix it. i hope so at least, but maybe there is no way to get it done like in the original f-15, but thanks for the info, it will for sure be something that it have not thought about.

then me as simmod member have to talk to the beta team if we decide to make new weapon models, so that everything fits how it is supposed to be. i guess thats the reason why walmi made new missilemodels

well i am not sure yet, first i want to get the f-15 in basic done. i guess that a new chutist would interfear with all the other models that use the chutist file. when ED would like to support the project there might be a way to do that. well but i know that they have to much work on black shark still now, so i guess there will be no new chutist, but maybe we as sim-mod team decide to do that we will see in the future that all i can say about it

hi guys, well i am used to the f-15 and the su27. both planes are marvelous, but i have one significant question. when i am in the BVR fight, i can see in the f-15 the time till the amraam is pitbull and i also get the time when the missile hits the target. i am used to the su27 more right now, and i am asking myself if there is any possibility to figure if the missle has hit the target or not, besides the splashed target at the horizont. what i mean in detail is, how can i figure if the missile mssed its target and passed it? is there anything in the hud or somewhere esle in the instruments, that indicates a miss or a loss of the missile? i hope you guys have answers greets boom boom

i nannot undersatnd people who still argue about mistakes in a model. why you just need to pick on that? there is no need to do that, and to be honest, the model is for free and many, really, many people have put hours of work into this project to get the bird flying. seriously, we should give the crap about guys who talk about the correctnes of the model, cause who wnat to have it real should go to the us air force and fly the hog there. guys, just one advise, just enjoy the models, and wait for further projects you can pick on again, LOL boom boom out, thanks

i try to be there some time this weekend, so simmod team, lets show up all together,lol, i know that will not work out thanks for you appreciation of our works boom boom is out working on the f15c again, and do some detail at the pilot, say ya then on your server

a little glimp into the future we only have to solve a few things about the pilot, so that when the issues are solved i can proceed on the cockpit and anything else

ând never forget, all the mods that are done by the sim-mod team are done in our freetime and we work over the projects many times, at least issues we find, so that projects most of the times take many weeks or month till they are done. we as designers have many ideas and want to realise them and give you guys the best we can as far lockon is capable of the dreams we have.

pilot head is done, no changes on this pilothead, now i will get to the body, then to the aces 2 and to the cockpit, before i keep on modelling the fuselage of the eagle

hi guys, a friend of mine and i have just thought about something we are wondering about. we locked at a map of world wide timezones. we figured that the crim is 2 hours ahead of the greenvich time and the kaukasus is 3 hours ahead. the time shift is directly the kerch strait so how is it with lockon, is this affecting lockon in some regards? i think it is more intersting then the question about the performance of an aim 120c greets boom boom

well i do not like the head to much, i am not the best human modeller, need some more practise there
