Well I'm sure an easy solution is not making announcements till they are absolutely certain its the next day and explaining just how much extra work they've been doing so when there is a delay we understand that we are actually benefitting from it; for example yes Forrestal is hella delayed but just showing us a few pics of how much better the rework is would do alot in terms of goodwill and buy alot of extra time from all of us; who wouldn't want to wait for a much better free Forrestal?

its been over a week since the original promise of a roadmap. Not a troll ( but kind of tongue in cheek) but I'll admit to being a bit impatient after a week of waiting.

maybe we should remember that given the tremendous fidelity of this module its hardly surprising its not all feature complete yet but its definitely better than having a module that feature complete on basic implementations but is no where near as high res and detailed as our Tomcat is becoming. Excellence takes time but better that than a mediocre module delivered early. Has everyone forgotten just how much we are getting? Forrestal eventually, AI Intruder, F-14A / B + lots of customizations (early BLOCK 135 AND Iranian F14). I'd say we got a bloody good deal so obviously it will take time to reach fruition. I'm grateful theres a developer with a ZEN like obsession for perfection even if it results in a long dev cycle. Cheers.

WOW! agree on coherency. it the direction DCS should be going in ie Cold war Enterprise carrier + airwing ( and def forrestal with add on for supercarrier functionality available as an upgrade). If DCS's weather materializes, Falkalnds map could be truly insane. imagine taking off in a storm from a pitching Invincible in a Sea Harrier!

it was late to the update it will be available with next patch maybe a hot patch this week. Alternatively you can add it yourself but only you will see it. I can understand the complaint... people REALLY want those early F-14A liveries so they believe a lack of glove vanes reduces the authenticity. Then there is the fact because of your research you know know ALOT more than many of us who think we know all the Tomcats details but haven't done the massive amount of research you've now done. I for one accept glove vanes would be a giant amount of extra work when in terms of realism they were little utilized. As a late 80s fleet F-14A didn't really use glove vanes, I'm delighted we are getting it. Where glove vanes deactivated on Iranian jets? Old photos suggest they always had them operational and even recent photos suggest they still are functional even with the new blue camo and in its new yellow splinter camo so sadly there will be a mountain of complaining. :( Keep up the good work... a Forrestal carrier, a museum quality photo-realistic F-14B and now A (and with canopy de-icers too I hope and and the planned yaw string) is pretty fantastic. Thanks again. Some people just don't know as much as you do now so best just to gently explain; its not nastiness, we just all love this jet.

So because of the 26 hour delay in Steams Syria DCS I decided to follow the steps for standalone [https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.p...qMcGIjHuhB2n_M](https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=229207&fbclid=IwAR0GZtmblG0Y4UbbiYlz2SudNKwHzIz583E2vzF1Z1DlPqMcGIjHuhB2n_M) I did steps 1-6 so yes I allowed ED to bind or share keys but the STEAM DLC finally came online and I decided not to do step 7 which is "Unbind" button, whereby all your Steam transferred licenses will be revoked and the binding removed. As such I believe both DCS standalone and Steam have licenses keys. However when I load up Steam DCS I get annoying DCS login. Is there anyway to permanently remove DCS standalone? I've tried multiple uninstalls from my computer reinstalling on Steam version but the annoying DCS login persists. Any help greatly appreciated.

NOT A CHILD! A CUSTOMER WITH REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS for service. Maybe you enjoy being treated as a second class citizen; I do not. As such I will not be an apologist for substandard service. There is no good reason for waiting 21 hours and no update from Steam has been given or offered.

Wanting to be constructive.... is their an email address or means to contact Steam directly? This delay isn't acceptable and we know its not ED's fault so keen to express my displeasure. Also any links for migrating Steam DCS to standalone? I no longer wish to support and pay a Steam surcharge for incompetent service. Cheers again. Very angry with lazy Steam about this.
