question concerning left landing gear door
Bulletstop replied to leafer's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Whelp I have to be honest, when I first bought it I was only doing so to support the only company doing really hard core sims. I found after about 5 hours flight time I fell in love with it. In fact I still fire it up just to fly, no missions just take her for a spin... So I am in love with a dinosaur but it is a fun dinosaur :)... Bullet -
The shark flies like a ship at stormy weather
Bulletstop replied to ArtMan_NL's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
you mean after the bird is in flight that is when you trim. it should start from the moment you r hands hit the stick, or hell maybe I am doing something wrong, lol Bullet -
Ok I thought I was missing something as I still fly the Shark, No worries glad it is the games not the stick. I have A10c and it works well with split throttle :)
-
why would you want the split throttle in Black shark, throttle should be auto only collective should be mapped. Maybe I am looking at this wrong. Bullet

X52 witch DCS-A10c veering left?
Bulletstop replied to Kiezer's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
That is your issue and you have to trim every time ordenance is dropped or make changes to speed. I hope that helps. Bullet -
X52 witch DCS-A10c veering left?
Bulletstop replied to Kiezer's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Have you trimed? If not you might want to set up one of the hats to make your trim or learn the keys for it. Bullet -
Hard to tell with just the key press, but if he is not making it the spi then it defaults to the waypoint spi. Bullet

AIRPORT SECURITY Escort and CAS Mission
Bulletstop replied to wolfhnd's topic in User Created Missions General
looks good, will try it later this weekend. Bullet -
But it still comes down to, it can do the basic role as well as improved on weapons deployment. Maybe not cost effective in a civil econmony, so far the polic's have had no problem spending our money, lol. The c is a more capable airframe but it still can do the same simple task it was made for. My 2 cents :). Bullet

and you can help catch things and that benefits every one :). Bullet

I agree the systems once you learn and understand them are pretty straight forward and can be a real blast, no pun intended :). Bullet

I have to agree, learning the systems and actually implementing them has been great fun Thanks for the beta and I can not wait for the final product. Bullet

I went home for Lunch, 7"x7 "is the base diameter for both. Bullet

Congrats, it is a sweet feeling when it all comes together :). Bullet

Ok as far as the construction it is solid. I do not know what the internals are. I have the trim function to one of the hats on the throttle and it works well, as with all trim you have to trim wait for it to settle, trim again if needed. I have had this stick for 2 months and it works great. It took about a week to really get used to it. The throttle is a bit bigger then the 52 with the panel projecting out of the front, this is for the force settings and mode lights as well as the four t buttons. I can get the dimensions when I get home for the base of both. Bullet

forget it I did not read fully my bad :) Bullet

yes in fact because I usually use lgb's and mav on the same load out I will be at about angles 10 and 7 to 4.5 nm away and no problems launching. I hope that helps. if you are manuevering it may have a hard time setting the ap. Always best to be straight and level if possible. Bullet
-
I have as normal hdg/alt right under the throttle. the switch should be set to hdg/alt. Bullet

Not if I understand Spi, or sensor point of interest. you can have multiple spi's but only one active at a time if I understand it correctly. please correct me if I am not :). In the explanation in the previous thread we had a short list of what was the proper procedure at the time and it went like this. Turn on tgp pod and mav to allow to align/warm up Find target with TGP\Set point track with tms up/fwd short Designate as target with TMS up long Select MAV display on mfd China Hat fwd lond to slew to designated target China hat fwd short to zoom in TMS FWD Lond to redisgnate SPI with Mav <------------ Have to confirm yet wheather this is a bug or actual implementation... is a bug TMS fwd short to track target... Thansk Nate, I kept the bloody thing :) The actual implentation is the above except the tms fwd long to redisgnate the mav spi. @Aceflier that is why I keep doing it as it really does work 90% of the time... Bullet

ok was the auto pilot on before the launch? I always start about 15 to 12 miles away hit auto once lined up on target then I start looking for targets, line em up, lock em, and shoot em :). I can salvo all 6 in seconds on a steady platform. Bullet
-
yes, Nate has said that is the procedure to redisgnate the spi and then hit tms fwd short immediately to lock mav, but this is a bug. he has said so. it really should be slave all to tgp spi then hit tms fwd short to get mav tracking. Bullet
