GunnDawg, like all sims it is playable, if you fly all those sims you will have no issues flying the shark. Bullet

Yup, nor would I, it is a mud mover and to be honest I do prefer cas work to cap. I guess the reason I still play Falcon is I can move mud with it. It is wierd that I will fly the f-16 but I really do not want to fly any more airframes, heh I guess i just miss the thump of rotors. Bullet

I hope we truly see the AH-64 ,but something tells me not for a long while, which is sad to me. I will grab the a-10 but after that no more fast movers for me, really am a die hard rotor head and I have been in my glory flying such a well done airframe, sigh, time will tell. I personally am waiting for the 64 if it comes out. I am a die hard rotor head and even tho I enjoy the a-10, a fast jet or bomber will just not satisify my urge to shoot a hell fire on some poor unsespecting t-80u or 90. Not to mention the poor bastage in a bmp or other soft vehicle :). As far as BS being stale now, nope still fly even if it is just to run the practice map to keep those skills honed. I also make my own missions to help keep me going. Bullet

i really do not think it will matter, if you are used to starting it and have done so for a fair bit, muscle memory will set in :) I still jump into IL46 and still remember all the keys I used. The only one i have issues with is Falcon 4, and for that I have a checklist :) Bullet

Hmmm thats is a bummer, mine was a conflict with keys and putting them in that order worked fine for me, I am sorry you are having issues. A quick question when theya re in the default, do they work in game? it would seem really wierd if they did but you can not remap them in the trackir. Please keep us posted, I would like to know the fix. Bullet

Honestly and this is only a hope, to have colliable tree's one day. :) As it is I really have no issues with the terrain per say, I still use valley's and ridge to hide and run pop up when I have a good chance of scoring a kill. Just my 2 cents. :) Bullet

When you are in the dust, isn't there a dust filter switch? I thought I read you should engage them while in the dust. If I remember it cause the engine to run hotter? Bullet

If it is causing that much issue I would just reassign them and not worry about the arrow keys. I had some issue so I moved mine keys to the following. In the number pad I have center as - , the percisions as * , and off as forward /. I did this as it has the least impact on the game and my profile. I hope that helps. Bullet

I had a great one yesterday. I landed to re-arm refuel, and I was not in the proper position on the airfield, ie I came in and landed by the fuel trucks on the af apron, wingy returns to base and runs directly into me. Yup my own dumb mistake for not telling him to hold position. Bullet I really need to use spell check more often :)

The way I fly depends on the terrain and the mission. I do prefer the stand off but when I have to go in hot, I go in hot. My standard procedure is to recon and then once I find all the threats I engage long range then go in for canon runs. I find I enjoy using the terrain to mask my movements, but on occasion I have been surprised by a man pad or unmounted gun. I can truthfully say those times get exciting real quick. I trully can not even think being high with no cover, it makes chills run down my spine thinking about being naked with no where to run and nothing to hide behind.,lol. Bullet

I have used trackir for the past 3 years and to be honest I can no longer fly any flight sim with out it. So I have to say it is worth it and once you have it and get used to it you will never know how you flew with out it. Bullet

I to have tir3 with track clip pro and it rocks. I seriously have forgot to turn on tir and I had a heck of a time flying, I ended up shutting the sim down just to start it up. That is how much a difference it makes. Bullet

I will give this a go. I bought the Russian version in November and on Dec 24Th I purchased the English Version. My ratings are as follows Flight Dynamics 95% Game Play 85% Grapics models 95% Graphics terrian 70% AI 70% user friendly, ie editor 80% I really have fallen for the shark and I am still playing it to this day. it has captured me almost is bad as LB2 did. I am drooling at the prospect of the AH-64 but I will purchase the a-10 just to keep the sim alive. It has been to long since a sim likes this has come out. Please keep up the great work and hopefully you will be able to update the terrian with collible trees and such. kinda limits the way I can sneak around by using the trees as cover. Bullet
