I have to say if my x65 dies, I would consider the fighterstick and throttle. I do not like the peddels so will stick with Saiteks. Bullet

I have the X65 and to be honest, The throttle is ok to me. I noticed the detents but I thought it was for idle and Afterburner. I very rarely use the throttle unlocked as the sims I do fly do not need a seperate throttle, well DCS 10-c but that is usually after I lose an engine. I am beginning to believe I am less sensitive to some of these issues as none of them bother me. When I first got the stick the throttle was very stiff but now after several months, like 4, it is smooth as silk and stays where I set it. I guess to me it feels just like the X-52's throttle so maybe I am not sensetive to the issue. I know some folks have reported a non centering stick, but so far mine is rock solid unless it comes unplugged and I try to reattach the s cable then it jacks the alignment and I have to exit the game and unplug then reattach the s cable. I have to admit I am figuring out a way to make sure the s cable stays attach as is an irritant to me. Bullet

Have you tried running it under admin. I have win7 64 and if I do not set the folder secutiy I have to run it under admin or else none of the changes save. Bullet

It shouldn't and make sure you check the 2 boxes it will install the 32 bit and trackir will then work. Bullet

I can not answer in Arcade, I have never flown in that mode. In sim your rpm are locked in in auto and that is the way it is supposed to be. keeps the rotor rpm's where they are supposed to be. Finding targets is not easy . However you can turn on labels to help. Also read the briefing and search the area around the waypoints you should eb able to spot some. The hardest to find is in woods. The best way I know how is to set up 6k from the target get in a stable hover and use the shival to search the area. Also your wingman can do recon for yea under the comminucation menu. I also have to say, please read the manual, it explains everything you need to know. Bullet

Ok did the mission this morning, the comms worked as planed, I was loitoring near 3 chasing the convoy when I was contacted and asked to accept the mission. I did have to hit f10 which is how you accept it. So far it worked well. Bullet

I have been having the same issue with coms, I have the freq set and mode to manual and tr but I never get a response. I verify that the tower freq is by using the map. I do this right after apu is running. I will try it with left gen activated and left engine fired up. Sorry Rev didn't mean to hijack the thread, So the jtac is seperate and you use the f10 button when in general comms? Bullet
