Best we can do to answer the question is extensive dogfights. F1C vs F-4E is imo the best DACT duo in DCS, pretty balanced. If someone is interested to do such fights shoot me a message so we can host a specific mission for that training.

Perhaps this topic should be reposted also in the specific F-16 Wishlist subforum. At least there ED responds with tags like ''reported'', ''not planned'' etc so we have an idea of what is happening. In the past similar requests about more F-16 variants have been denied. But who knows, ED had for a long time denied also a FF F-15C but finally (after many request threads) we have convinced them for the necessity of that module. Block 30 is a must for the reasons mentioned already in this thred.

I agree. But i'm afraid, if we request to much we won't get anything. There are already request to expand the map to north, south, east and west. Eggebek, Jagel, Wittmund and Jever are IMO the absolute bare minimum essential bases that should be added in the map.

Essential for realistic Marineflieger ops in the Baltic sea. Can't really understand why they are missing, especially if we consider that the respective Tornado and F-104 modules are currently developed. Some naval assets (ships) from the era would be also amazing.

Eggebeck and Jagel is a must in a cold war German Map, especially with a full fidelity Tornado IDS module (and F-104G) in the making. German Marineflieger operations in the baltic sea region of the map flown from their standard homebases should be possible. I really hope the devs will hear our concerns.

So Eggebeck and Jagel seems to be placed in the Phase 3 area. Hope until then the Tornado module will be close to release. Flying anti ship missions in the Baltic sea with the 76 paint Marinefliger variant is my all time favourite fighter jets mission. Will the map come also with some cold war Naval assets or that's on ED's side?

Does anybody know where the Marineflieger Tornados with the old grey - white colors where stationed? One AB was Eggebeck i think which i hope will be included in the next phases

Btw, this was posted from Wags little before the 2025 and beyond video was released. I'm all in for multiple ac versions.

I had a broken spring on my Orion 1 joystick base + F-18 grip. Ordered a new spring, removed the old one, installed the new one and suddenly the X and Y axes are not working. The buttons are. I downloaded also the latest SimAppPro version, did a firmware update (for the base and the grip), tried to calibrate, axes are not working. I've inspected the visible cables inside the base (without having disassembled it completely), not any visible damage (see attached image). In any case i haven't touched anything else during the spring replacement (unit was ofc disconnected from the PC during the spring change). Winwing suggested to restore in the Windows joystick game controller the default status of the unit (didn't helped) and nothing else. Any ideas?

There are so many threads / requests here in the forum about a FF F-15C, before and after the release of the SE and the RZ situation, that i think ED should at some point consider seriously the possibility to do that.

I see the thread is marked as 'noted." When did that happened? I had the assumption that "no more F-16 variants are planned" was ED's typucal response to those requests.

Good work! I appreciate your effort! IMO it should be looking more blue than grey. Like that in the wip picture you've posted before the final version. I think you were there very close to the blue color, at least as it appears on the various photos of the real cockpit.

Indeed the color looks different with various light conditions. If you want you can check also my own photos (in some you can see the direct effect of the light and the shadow on the color).
