  1. How did you solve the friction problem? Does the shaft stay where you leave it or it tends to swing down due to the higher torque generated for the extra weight and throttle base position?
  2. Nice video but I'm glad I have way better graphics in DCS. The gun bullets look like Star Wars blasters
  3. We'll see an F-16 here. I know why I tell ya this...
  4. Does it download faster using the old method? I had to go to bed and cancelled the update after 4 hours and 5 Mb downloaded only
  5. It would be great to fly a first generation reactor with all the dangers it carries
  6. Impressive model! Isn't the cockpit in the picture in your first post yours? I'll stay tuned to see your progress.
  7. One big ass 60" curved TV 4k would be just enough
  8. It's the same. I won it and had to let it go. Something went wrong with my credit cards issued from the same bank. The problem was solved two weeks later but after one week I told the seller to cancel the transaction....omg! It's so embarrassing...
  9. No. I used 3mm white acrylic painted black as the top lightplate, 3mm white acrilic as the middle plate and 2mm black acrylic as the backplate.
  10. I hope so. Default clouds are like bitmap crops rotating as the camera moves. Totally unrealistic. The only ugly thing with the new graphics engine
  11. John, thank you very much for sharing this with us. It is really insightful. I like the box made of styrene for the panels. It allows you to use LED strips taped to the bottom and the light can be difussed better as it bounces off the walls. The best is that with a very nice finish and mounts these panels can be sold as desktop mountables for more simple cockpit builds Good one!
  12. I'm interested in teaming up with you. I'm located in Colombia too so that could make things easier. PM me
  13. Nice tip! I didn't know this was possible to set to manual
  14. Chill out...! we all tried to lock a target without the radar ON the first time... btw, I hope those canopy shadows to be removed. Look totally incorrect
  15. Great tribute! I liked the video! thanks for sharing!
  16. Badass plane. I hope it's simulated in DCS someday
  17. Hey, Lynx. I'm interested in your Glareshield and FIRE handles. Let me know when they will be ready to ship out
  18. Beautiful. I think I'm going for real OSRAM displays too...
  19. I used that technique all the time. This way you can control soft or hard edges and there's a lower risk for paint to crawl under the masking tape ruining your finish Btw, Whiteladder...awesome job on that model!!
  20. Here's where the real sales potential is. Customers who want a couple of most used panels on their desktops. So far no one hasn't offered a finished and desktop mountable USB pluggable 5v backlit panels like the Thrustmaster MFDs. The most important thing is that they have to be affordable for masses. Not like that extremely pricey Simparts stuff that require an extra expensive CAN device to make them work. All you need as a customer, with my business approach proposal, is your favorite powered USB HUB
  21. Lol...I thought the same... There are more differences like seat back angle
  22. Beautiful as usual from you, Legolas I've followed your work in Viperpits and I'm glad you're building an A-10C cockpit. We can share plans and techniques Keep up the good work!
  23. I'm bidding for this! I hope to win
