  1. well done! With the community's contributions we might finally have a full DCS F-16 module one day. I'll try to give my contribution too
  2. I was the lucky one! Beautifully crafted!
  3. Nice. Very professional finish
  4. This video made me buy NTTR map instead! I'll wait for the mirage module price to drop
  5. I think the issue is the Arduino Atmel processor with its 16Mhz that isn't fast enough update the screen without this tearing. The display is just fine. You'be better off with a Raspberry Pi and its 700 Mhz processor btw, where this you buy this nice screen?
  6. Most Impressive! How about three of these for a surround view?
  7. :lol::megalol:
  8. Cool!
  9. It's a Magic
  10. Great call! I'm beginning to see many developers coming to DCS
  11. Very insighful explanation for me too. Thanks!
  12. In previous posts it has been said that it'll be AFM. Now the real question is: Will it be ASM with a fully clickable cockpit?
  13. The problem with the TM WH is mostly the wrong slope between the LASTE panel and the throttles. However one could figure out an adapter for this set for those who prefer it over real throttles. With your permission of course, ☺
  14. Well... DM, If I might suggest, I'd recommend to include a way to stuff the TM Warthog throttle in. This HOTAS is widely available and many people that want to step in the cockpit building wouldn't want to ditch their 400 usd investment for the TM WH. I checked the website you recommend and all I can see are A-10A throttles. No MiC, Coolie or Boat Switch on those throttles and honestly paying 275,00 in something you have to work a lot on doesn't justify for many people... Please consider this aspect and you will have more sales ;) Regards!
  15. I'm really interested in the glareshield and Fire Pull handles. I can't wait to order a set
  16. For real??? I'd love to bite on these in DCS World someday!!
  17. If a 3d model for this piece existed I could take it to a lathe to get it built in stainless steel or aluminum so it doesn't mess with the magnetic field of the hall sensor
  18. I think the size is just right. The problem is the hall sensor or whatever joystick system it uses.
  19. Great job! What did you use for swivel mechanism on the collective shaft? Hydraulic or pneumatic jacks or cylinders? friction screws? I have my Ka-50 collective already done but I can't figure out a way to force it to stay where I want it before the switches box weight makes it drop all the way down
  20. I had no idea that the mic switch could be pressed in....
  21. It's the natural effect of direct lightning casting shadows on everything that is blocking in its rays' way. The shine on the tarmac its due to its specular properties like the real material. Of course, in real life there's indirect lightning -that's a subtle lightning coming from the rays or photons that bounce off the surfaces at varied angles that depend on many factors like objects geometry and its refraction properties- but in the picture the lightning comes from the sun at a very low angle and without any obstacles in the sky that reflects back its light. You can test this by yourself trying to take a photo with the sun in front of the lens
  22. Awesome work, Capt!!
  23. I wonder if it's possible to build a fully functional cockpit without using Helios at all... So far we can export some "render to texture" displays to external monitors. ie: UHF repeater, MFDs, Clock, CMSP, etc and for panels we can use DCS Bios and Arduinos daisy chained through I2C or RS485 buses BUT for some gauges Helios is very convenient and does a great job In my case I'm using Helios, DCS BIOS and .LUA export at the same time and I'm having a big performance impact in my flights. Has anybody built his pit without relying in Helios at all?
  24. Although the question isn't intended for me I dare to answer that it's a 2x20 LCD display that can be bought easily and for a price as low as 5 USD
  25. I use the same combination so I'd love to know if someone has tried Windows 10 with this as well
