It's the same with the "Aktas" on the bullet fairing above the outer right wing handpoint. The current textures are just placeholders until they're sure that the model is accurate, so I guess the rivet counters will just have to wait for a few weeks (or just fix it in photoshop like I did).
I have "Zoom in slow" and "Zoom out slow" mapped to up/down (7/9) on the TMS switch on my Warthog HOTAS. It's pretty much a necessity in all the DCS aircraft I fly. Small low resolution monitors (I have a 24"@1080p) aren't really that good for discerning small details like that.
Here is my temporary SwAFHF / SE-DXN skin. It's based on the original bare metal skin, so I can't share it yet, but it should be simple to get a proper one out once the templates are available.
Isn't that setting just for the cockpit gauges/displays? I'd assume that the rest of the textures are controlled by the global texture settings. But if the texture settings are maxed out there could be some kind bug involved.

You don't need 3 versions. You can easily update your 1.5.5 release to 1.5.6 open beta via
dcs_updater.exe update @openbeta
If you want to change it back to 1.5.5, replace @openbeta with @release
You should have gotten an email from SendOwl Downloads which contains your serial number. In you profile page on www.digitalcombatsimulator.com, paste the serial in the license check box, and then bind the serial to your account.
That test won't really do anything. There's no difference between the current open beta and release versions. No files will be changed by "updating" to OB or reverting to release.

They did have thunderstorms in the previews they showed us last autum. I'm not saying they control the weather, but they definitely do control the weather.
Some people just love to whine about nonsense like this. I'm sure LNS will get the blame if Microsoft push out a windows update tomorrow that makes DCS unplayable. Power cut? Avalanche? Ragnarok? Blame LNS!
If you can't manage to type in 32 characters in a windows command prompt, then I guess computers aren't really for you. Try consoles instead.
