If you have another installation of DCS (alpha or beta) on your harddrive, I highly recommend to reinstall DCS completly. For a reinstallation the setup will load the most files from 2.0 or beta. So the reinstallation will not take too long. Or you open up a support ticket. Dont forget to attach your log file to it.

This happens only to the P51 because this module just came into your arsenal. So it concerns only the new files that were downloaded and installed recently. All other modules were not touch by the P51 installation. I would try to uninstall only the P51. This works with the console comands. There is a thread to this topic somewhere. I will look it up later. Have to go now sorry. Or maybe someone else would be so nice to post a link to this console-repair-update-thread.

Let me guess. You are using Avast? If yes, this might be the same issue that I had. Seems to be a new problem, that came with a recent update of Avast or DCS. Dont know. The support told me to -uninstall the modules -deactivate Avast -reinstall the modules. That was to much effort to me, to uninstall every single module so I reinstalled the entire program with deactivated Avast. This helped but from now on I think I have to deactivate Avast before every single DCS update.

I read somewhere England will have less details than Normandy. Well, maybe a bit less detail. Still looks great.

The chance for normandy prepurchase or anything about 2.5 just decreased. A new A-10C campaign will be released instead.

Has somebody an answer for this: Will they update the stable right to 2.5 or will there be an alpha or beta before? I mean the devs release a beta for almost every single update for a very good reason of course and for such a huge update like 2.5, I would expect a beta phase for 2 months or more.

Yes right, I forgot this one. From external shops you maybe get a unbound key in an email. Such a key must be assigned to your account via Licence Check on the profile page. So login on ED homepage, click on "profile" and enter your key into the licence check box at lower left side of your screen.

At this moment you need DCS 1.5.6 open beta to fly the viggen. Stable and alpha version dont have it yet, what may change maybe tomorrow. So download the beta, install it, log in, open the module manager and the rest is self-explaining. If you bought the viggen in some external shop (like https://heatblur.myshopify.com), it may take a while until the key is assigned to your account. Dont know these procedures. However if all this doesnt help you maybe should open up a support ticket.

I guess the next step is a trailer including the soundtrack and the prepurchase period hopefully starting this friday.

Once I had the same problem. The images need to be pasted as images (for displaying them big) AND they need to be attached into the post. I bet you removed the attachements from the post itself so the image hasnt a shortcut any more. You did it right if you see large pictures AND thumbnails at the end.

Yes its one of the most beautyful cockpits for sure. I wonder how they made it. It looks a bit like photogrammetry to me.

Jetzt hast du es aber nur für DCS geändert. In allen anderen Spielen wäre es wohl immer noch matschig. Das gilt auch für andere DCS-Installationen wie der alpha oder der beta. Wenn du es für alle ändern willst musst du es unter der Kartei "globale Einstellungen" selbst ändern.

Bei derartigen Problemen wären ein paar Hardwareinfos hilfreich. Daher rate ich jetzt mal. Geh mal in die Grafikeinstellungen und stelle die Texturenqulität höher. Wenn du eine Nvidia-Karte hast, geh in die NVIDIA-Systemsteuerung, dann auf "3D-Einstellungen verwalten" und dann schau mal bei "Texturfilterung-Qualität". Die sollte wenigstens auf "Qualität" stehen.

Das war aber zu erwarten. Die 1.5.6 beta kämpft ja mit einigen größeren Problemen.

I dont think its about the size if somebody want South England within the map. Its about the symmetry with the channel as the axis or as the center line. You are on one side and beyond the channel ... well there are "the others". This makes the map so much more interesting for multiplayer matches.

Of course they will. But maybe not to the release if they have issues with this feature.

Didnt read the entire thread but I am curious. Is there any intention to get 3rd party developer status in future to make a full-value module or a "small" module (like the F-15C) of it? I mean the pak-fa might be classified in most aspects.
