I normally don´t use Max but I think this should do the trick. Select your image plane -> right click -> object properties -> freeze

And only a specific ammount - so you can´t buy the whole module with bonus money. You can wait though till the L-39 is released for example and if you use the whole ammount which is possible to spend on one module you´ll get it a few bucks cheaper than when preordering it.

F1 should normally work to return to the cockpit view. Yes, there is a trim function for the cyclic - if I´m not mistaken it´s called force trim. You can look it up in the options.
